Iron Grip: Warlord Updates Released

Updates to Iron Grip: Warlord have been released. These updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

Iron Grip: Warlord

  • Resolved DRM issues
  • Added CD Key associated with the users’ accounts. This allows the user to play on different computers without problems.

Iron Grip: Warlord – Demo

  • Created separate demo build to reduce file size on disk

Inside Out (NY) plan first show in a while

New York City will play host to the first live performance from early hardcore act Inside Out in 21 years. The Inside Out reunion performance is set for August 14, 2010 and will include Razorblade Handgrenade, No Tolerance, Vigilant Hotel and Activator. It all takes place at Santos Party House in New York. Ypu can find ticket info here.

UPDATE: This is not, as originally reported, the Inside Out that featured Zack de la Rocha of Rage Against The Machine and Vic DiCara of Shelter and 108. Wrong Inside Out. Sorry about that.

Inside Out (Rage Against the Machine, Shelter) plan first show in 21 years

Inside Out New York City will play host to the first live performance from 80s hardcore act Inside Out. The band released just one album, the critically acclaimed No Spiritual Surrender. They also gained significant notoriety when vocalist Zack de la Rocha went on to form Rage Against The Machine. The band also featured guitarist Vic DiCara who went on to Shelter and 108.

Rage Against the Machine took their name from what was to be the second Inside Out album and released Rage Against the Machine in 1992. The Inside Out reunion performance is set for August 14, 2010 and will include Razorblade Handgrenade, No Tolerance, Vigilant Hotel and Activator. Weakerthans’ John K. Samson named Winnipeg’s Art Ambassador for Music

The Weakerthans founder (and former Propagandhi member) John K. Samson was recently named Winnipeg’s Art Ambassador for Music by the city’s Arts Council. Samson joins ambassadors in the fields of theater, visual arts, music, dance, and literary arts, who will advocate for their art forms within the city and beyond.

Along with his award winning work in the Weakerthans, Samson is a founding member of Arbeiter Ring Publishing, a publishing collective. He also released City Route 85 [7 inch] last year.

Bullet Tooth plans Kid Liberty, Deception of a Ghost releases for August

Bullet Tooth, the newly launched label from Josh Grabelle, founder of Trustkill Records, has announced his first two releases. Due out August 3, 2010 will be the new album from Texas-based pop/hardcore outfit Kid Liberty. The record is titled Fight With Your Fists.

Later that month, the label will issue Speak Up, You’re Not Alone from Deception of a Ghost on August 24, 2010. Find some music from them on their MySpace page.

Have Nots post tour compilation video

Boston’s Have Nots have compiled a ton of footage from their recent run with the Dropkick Murphys into a new tour video. The band recently issued a vinyl version of their otherwise freely downloadable 2008 album, Serf City USA on Paper and Plastick. The band will be hitting the road again this July before entering the studio with Matt Drastic in August, and an East Coast tour with Swingin’ Utters in September.
