Tours: Angry Samoans (Europe)

Legendary LA Punk Rock band Angry Samoans are heading over to Europe for a set of shows in May. Along the way they are playing with The Soundtrack of Our Lives, and a stop at the Spring Madness Festival with Demented Are Go and The Peacocks.

The band is an early Los Angeles act formed by rock critics “Metal” Mike Saunders and Gregg Turner. The band released several albums starting with 1978’s Live At Surf City, including 1982’s Back from Samoa. Their most recent release was 1999’s The ’90s Suck And So Do You.

Trenches (ex-Haste The Day), Rueben, Supersmashers

Atmospheric hardcore act Trenches has some new music posted.The band features former a Haste the Day vocalist but is more influenced by the likes of Isis, Masodon and Neurosis. You can check out the music on their myspace page

English post-hardcore act Reuben have released a video for their upcoming single ‘Blood, Bunny, Larkhall’ on Youtube.

Minneapolis punk/ska act the SuperSmashers have posted two new tracks on their myspace page. The tracks are from the new album entitled Someday which will be released via Neutral Run Records on May 29th. The band has posted their June Midwest/East Coast dates as well.
