Bad Astronaut to tour again?
In a post on his Facebook page, Joey Cape remarked that some Bad Astronaut tour dates would be announced soon. No other information is currently available, but we’ll keep you posted.
Bad Astronaut last released Twelve Small Steps, One Giant Disappointment in 2006, which served as a tribute to late drummer Derrick Plourde and was, presumably, the band’s final album. Cape is currently busy touring as a solo artist, and he’s releasing one new song per month this year.

The Riot Before: “What I’ve Missed”
Alternative Press is hosting a new track from The Riot Before. “What I’ve Missed” comes from the band’s new album and first for Paper and Plastick, Rebellion. It’s due out April 27, 2010 and will follow up 2008’s Fists Buried in Pockets.

Joey Cape has added more solo gigs to his 2010 plans, with dates in Australia, New Zealand and Canada starting May 19 and running through June 13.
Cape’s new album, Doesn’t Play Well with Others is being released one song at a time this year. Cape also has another split with Tony Sly in the works, and a bunch of new videos.
