An old friend

Hopped into a server to play a couple rounds today. Saw an old friend. Look at the score above mine.

He stayed in his squad, I stayed in mine. I didn't say we were GOOD friends 🙂

    Edit:
He had a pretty good game. I don't think he was AT the whole round (teamwork score), but I dunno how the round ended. . .I kicked out my main monitor cord, and thought BF2 had crashed, so no end-of-round screenshot (Dumb, I know, but BF2 has crashed a lot more times than I've kicked out a monitor cord). Didn't get a pic of my expert knife badge either, which I finally received tonight

To tell the truth, I'm not really that sociable. If I see someone in-game I haven't seen in a long time, I don't always feel comfortable talking to them. If they talk to me, great, but. . .in general, I'm not very chatty except to close friends. That kinda makes things difficult when I'm looking for recruits, for that matter.

Hey thanks for the Email that you were playing. I would have joined up as I said in TS Friday night. PUTZ 🙂
I check Xfire and TS here and there throughout the day to see if anyone is playing. No one was yesterday at all in XFire and only a guest1 was listed in my TS window. I leave Paladin-Adm logged into TS just to keep track of its usage and monitor if users are abusing it for any reason. It is weird though that sometimes I see the quit messages but do not always see a joined listed. I think if they do not join the channel I only see the quit ones.

Next time run those. Sit on TS marked away even. It will give an indication that you are wanting to play at least...

As for Boom, that is a shame., I would have have went so far as to join his squad to say hi to him in VOIP. He was a good guy. I actually have nothing really bad to say about the OSS guys at all. I really liked Boom and Arch, DrDeath, all good guys. Some really good players there as well. I would welcome them here anytime.

The clan just was not moving along and we did not get any cooperation when trying to get the forums up etc.... Sort of got to the point that no one really cared except for us. You can only do so much and when it got to the point that we were the only ones posting, trying to recruit, and making all the effort to have some even minor things implemented, that got old. When that happens you kind of want to move on and find something better.

Sad fact of life I guess.

Maybe they are getting tired of GRAW, or whatever it is called, I forget 🙂 BF2 was never thier favorite, and was just a passing phase.
