BF 2 1.41 Patch Released

Apparently EA released the 1.41 Patch today. Full update is the only one available at the moment (536mb) but the incremental is being prepared for release. I would expect the incremental to be significantly smaller when it is released.

BUG FIX

- Fixed an extremely intermittent server crash bug.

Well I waited for the incremental version but didn't see it anywhere yet. Spent 2 hours trying to get it from the west coast but it hung at 104 megs. Now attempting to get from Ireland as Sarge suggested.

Why the heck was the server patched so quickly??

I wish I knew why it was patched so quickly. Maybe because the server side patch is small and easy?

They push the patches to all the servers at once. Not much we can do about it.

Well look at all the trouble our server had last month. X's that by hundreds. I'd patch em' too if I was a provider.

I used the link Sarge supplied above but clicked on the 1000Mbit/s IRISH server. I got it very fast with that one at night.
I got that in about 10 min with the FIOS. Hell it may have been even shorter, it was fast. 🙂

Sometimes our evenings are their early morning with little traffic 😉
Any that are 1000Mbit/s with a nice solid green bar with few users should be good.

I have always gotten great speeds with their netherlands server... typically over 600
