BF1942 with iCe

    We are trying to get people together this Sat night (21 Feb) for some classic BF1942 pub'n all are welcome! Ventrilo server info= fire.pure-voice.net port= 3211

    Starting time: around 21:00 est until late at night!

    Varg, do you still play IL-2? (Was over on your clans forums and reading)
    How well does it run on an XP machine?

    Always liked it, but lost my disks years ago, and my pick them up cheap again.

    IL2 runs fine on XP. Lots of members play IL-2 but some of us joined an IL-2 clan which plays competitive online. Let me know if you want to play and I can help you. Get Hyperlobby, its the program that people use to meet for IL-2 online.

    Plans are on for (tonight) Sat. 28 Feb for some more BF with iCe. Starting again around 21:00est. Join our ventrilo server and have some fun! Might be BF1942 because some oldies from other clans want to join in. I hope Doc can join in this time!

    Looking for my install SN - lost the case somewhere, but when I find it I'll re-install 1942, R2R and SW - might be fun to go old school again.

    Thanks Doc and Atomm for showing up! We had a great time! We will still play BF1942 but we might try BF2 next Sat. just to mix it up.

    Is there a "Cartel" BF2 server? If so, would it be possible for iCe to join in next Saturday?

    Paladin has an AIX 2.0 server, but opinions on that mod vary. I like it. It's fun, no stress, and no matter how many ppl you are gaming with, it's enough for a game.

    Thanks for the invite Varg. I always enjoy playing with you guys. I'd dare say your group is a lot like ours. Mellow with a few moments of excitement, but a lot of good action.

    Sorry I had to bail, but my wife had worked the previous 6 nights and I wanted to see her before she starts back up again.
