BF2 Patch 1.5 Error: You are running a higher version

If BF2 gives you the error that your current version is higher than the 1.5 patch, check to make sure you have the previous patch. In other words, the 1.5 patch won't work unless you have at least 1.41 installed. If 1.41 isn't installed the 1.5 patch will tell you that you are running a more current version of BF2 than the 1.5.

Make sense????? Of course it does, it was made by EA/Dice.

Rat Bastards, Haven't even gotten the patch installed and I am cursing our EA/Dice. 1 year in development for this patch and it still has these types of issues? I mean is there a QA dept there?

ps. Thanks for the file access. I've asked Mischief to put the server into 1.5 for a couple of months. Probably won't be a factor with most of you since its only 10 players, but for me I need to get used to it again. I have 3 days to play with it before I leave the state again.

Ask him if he'll run the new maps plus EF and AF only..... I'd play on it if he does.
