Figured I'd liven things up here in the BF2 forum. Here's a couple pics I grabbed playing the Eve of Destruction mod for BF2. This guy is twice the AT player I'll ever be 🙂
I had a good round a little while back on Mashturr. The =PECK= guys traveled all together in the same truck - nice teamwork really, but it made for a few multi-kills. 🤘
This was the strangest badge award I have ever received. I had been trying forever to get my basic air defense badge, even playing whole rounds in the AA on the aircraft carrier. I never got it.
Then one night, I jumped on a pub AF server and was getting pwned by some incredible pilots. I got fed up and jumped into the AA. I did this none stop the whole round. Then at one point, I killed one Mr Tillerman31 and recieved not one, not two, but two badges and a ribbon all from a single kill. There must have been something silly holding me up for that badge.
sweet. Nice round. I've been completely forgetting to take screen shots recently. I should of got one of me teabagging that on Karkand on Friday night that did it to me. It's not like he did anything special to take me down either, I was already down to 2 bars of health from a couple of his teammates when he shoots me and then has the nerve to squat. 😈 Thankfully, I respawned nearby and took him down immediately and got my revenge. I think that's the first time that i've ever done it to someone that didn't have a |GRB| tag 😀. It's just sooo disrespectful to do it to someone who isn't a friend that you are joking with.
I've Teabagged several people I didn't know especially if they are being dicks or Knife me. Then I hunt them down and return the favor.

Heh. After the round I posted above, we went to Kubra Dam. My team couldn't be bothered to do anything on the ground, so the enemy held all the flags, and one enemy squad decided to camp our uncap. I must've pissed them off pretty good. I was racking up a lot of kills, and they kept having to make the hike back, but I just got bored with that. I was sure to teabag 'em when I was done each time. That's what they get when they suck, and try to camp an uncappable when server rules post against it. 🙂
I'm really enjoying having my internet working. It's CRAZY, I tells ya, I click on a link and it WORKS!
So I went ahead and reinstalled BF2. Seems to be working OK. I spawned in and had a nice 2 minute run. . .one of those times when everyone just runs into your shots for you. I got a truck, a tank, and 4 ppl. BOOM goes the dynamite! 😀
What's better than sniping a sniper from top of the TV tower with a rocket? Maybe taking out an attack chopper, but that's about it. I hope he saw that rocket getting bigger and bigger. . . 🙂 I seem to have caught the mini-map acting flaky as well.
Atomm dropped a crate on the roof of the TV tower. It fell thru the cracks down to the second floor.

Good games last night guys. While it was fun, we'll have to try something different next time. Maybe we'll try what Bubba suggested, or if you DL AIX, we'll try that. Bots don't teabag. . . 🙂
Doc, that is the exact picture I had at the end of the round. It was kind of strange.
When you think about it, that box inside the building is Pic of the Day material on any BF2 site. Anyone who plays will understand that boxes are not suppose to be inside the building.
I had fun playing with Bubba and Doc, but overall, the game really has lost it's luster for me. Unless the next patch fixes the stupid hit box and PITA random deviation, I can't say if I want to even download it.
Played some AIX tonight. Found some maps I hadn't played. The first one has a volcano that spews out flaming rocks at intervals, that roll down as you're trying to advance on the enemy's bases. Not the best gfx, but it looks better when in motion.
Some the the screens are a bit washed out. I use different settings for my gaming monitor when I'm playing, but the screenshots seem much darker, so I did some quick 'n' dirty gamma adjustments on them.
This one is particularly vertically-oriented. The maps in AIX seem so much bigger than regular BF2.
They look cool... I've totally lost my BF2 cd1 so I can not install, I have my cd key and cd's 2 and 3 but where the hell 1 went - only the shadow knows.

In my case if this were to happen it always seems to be in a computer that i have scrapped and put away.
ETQW was dull for sure. I keep hoping that someone will come out with a good mod for that game. The one thing that I really liked was the Human weapons. It seemed like you hit what you aimed at. A human vs. human mod of that game might be fun.
Sarge is correct, played COD 4 LOVED the single player - HATED the MP. sold it to soomeone in Joes clan up in Canada and bought ET | QW
ET was fun for a while, but now it's the same strategy against the same old players, you can almost script who plays what class and when they will do what.....
gets old..... still looking for the BF2 cd... may eBay one for $5.
