Here's a promo video from the DCon alpha build. While no release date is given it does show that they are getting "close".

YOUR GONNA GET IT GUYS!!! You wanted player controlled Arty.. YEA we got that too. Then you wanted CTF for all the classic maps.. Bingo done, cross that off your list guys.

Wow just in time for FnF if we can all get them.

No way. Its gotta be hugh, and I absolutely hate rushing to d/l something that large at the last minute. I'll gladly get it for next week.
If its possible, I sure would like to see this installed on our server for a weekday tryout. I wouldn't use a Friday for it until its patched out as they were discussing in that thread. This is one mod I've been looking forward to, and probably the only one I'd ever consider messing with.
On a related issue, I found my BF1942/rome/sweapons serial #'s, but the jewels are empty. If this Dcon mod is any good at all and has the old maps, would save me the trouble of d/loading replacement images.

As people keep telling me, FnF's are NOT really organized anyway. We basically do whatever so we could see if people get it.
If not that is cool we will do SF IO again. I am siked okay? 😉

Assuming that we do get it and want to play, [OSF] should have a 64 player server up or we could host it ourselves.
Doesn't matter to me as the SF IO was much fun as well, even in the dark.

If it comes out at 4PM EST that gives us 5 hours to get it 😉
Hell we can try. Only a handful of us turn out on Fridays anyway so...

The wife is getting surgery Friday morning so I may not be able to do much gaming anyway. It is up in the air.

Wow, sorry to hear that. Send me an email where she's at and I'll stop in after the operation if she is up for company afterwards.
