Well last week you were playing a pack I didn't buy, af or ef or whatever it was. Its too bad EA didnt' hold back 2142 until about now, it could have been much more interesting.
The UT server expired yesterday. Just not interested in anything BF2'ish at the moment on pub servers.

The ppl that gamed last Friday played vanilla city maps, but I hear you.
Edit: or did we? I think we played some AF. Damn, they're all blending together now.
Seriously BF2 is as fun as it ever was guys. Okay we could use some new maps I admit but the game is fun. It is the lack of good players that is really killing it. Seriously.

But bear in mind the game forces the asshat players through encouraging play that isn't teamful. And the maps are just boring to me now, that is why the mods appeal to me, at least they are maps that I haven't seen 20000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times.
In any case I plan to be there running my new rig.

I agree Bubba but I also think this is the same with most games man. If there is even one small exploit or any way to make others miserable, lamers will use it. These are the same a-holes that cut you off in traffic. 😉
This is why I like the idea of scrims so much. In theory you are playing your clan, which are not supposed to be smacktards, against another clan that is also not supposed to be.

Good to hear. Atomm has expressed a desire for City maps, which sounds good to me.
If we put our minds to it, I bet we could do a few things differently than we usually do. . .maybe use the Blackhawk around Mashtur, form an armored column on Karkand (with engys and a medic). . .hold the Surveillance Point or City Entrance on Sharqui all round, or man every AA emplacement there to keep the attack chopper at bay. . .maybe opposite night, where everyone plays a kit they hardly ever play for one map out of every 2.
Sorry guys. I just got home and it is 11:10p my time. I am really exhausted so am going to bed early. Sorry I really did want to play but can hardly stay awake for some reason. I have not been sleeping very well lately.

If you have UT04 some of us will be at our new server Sat nite, Starting with Onslaugt and rotating other gamestypes the rest of the nite. Its a new server with just vanilla install at the moment.
