Wish you guys would have stuck around a little later. The action just got better and better. Here are a couple of the Epic matches that happened later:

    Final Conquest
After awards, I received 20122 points for this match. Started out on the other team. I, Vince, and a couple pubbers had all objectives and had them trapped in the spawn. Half the other team rage quit, so Vince, one pubber, and I swapped over, and fought back to win the match.

Epic Tehran Highway RUSH Defense Loss
My best one round kill count yet: 39. Good use of AT mines, Rockets, and a suppressed PP-2200. But this was a long epic round because of the teamwork. Had 3 OKGG guys (Vince, Genetic Weapon, and I) and one really good pubber (now on my friends list for good reason) making up our side.

Both of those stood out at the night, but every round was intensely fun.
Goodness, I've missed a proper Battlefield game.

That's pretty amazing. You must have gained at least one rank from that as well.

You know though that if we had stuck around, I would have had at least half of your points 😛

Overall had a lot of fun last night too. I had a 10K+ round for the first time last night. I didn't have a lot of kills but a lot of flag caps and defends, supplies and heals/revives. I am starting to remember how to play battlefield a bit...

Dunno about that Lexx. I'm more often a pacifist, playing the medic. I even have the revive-count dog tag unlocked which means I'm over 300 revives and counting. I play engineer as a secondary. Not much use for a medic in a tank fight, after all. But we have a lot of close quarters maps, which is awesome. Like I always say, I'm no point man, but I'm one hell of a support guy. ...maybe not with the literal kit just yet, but I'm getting there. I have C4 unlocked now. So you can all now fear the oncoming jeeps again.

Still, being able to carry both rockets and mines is nice. Or in RUSH, having a RCRV is fun. I have more than 5 kills with it, too (only had it unlocked since Friday). There's nothing like suddenly driving it under a vehicle and killing someone by repair tool to the crotch. Or running it under a tank, and then they wonder why they died; the tank having suddenly caught on fire and exploded. It's both twisted and fun. Two things right up my alley.

And yes, I would be one to discover that the Radio Controlled Robot could be used offensively for things other than setting MCOM's and repairing vehicles. I was amazed when I found out it's repair tool on it could be used to kill, but I wasn't going to let they guy that had walked up on it just outright kill it. So I figured, ATTACK... and moments later, when he'd lost the fight, he was cursing over chat.

It fits under tanks nicely. And under some of the cars and 18-wheeler trucks for sudden surprise tactics. It's not hugely effective, but it does work, and is funny when it does. It's also small enough that the tank drivers usually miss it among the more visible threats of rockets, other tanks, and even mortars.

Only battlefield games allow for this level of creativity in play style.

I just got an even more evil idea. If I had a support guy with me to put C4 on one... Oh, that's evil. 😈 Course, not sure what exactly that would be more effective for... but I'm sure I'll find a time to at least test that stupid idea. 🙂

I'll help you test that one. Tankers are already getting more savy about the bots so getting in close with c4 might be a new twist that they aren't expecting 😈

Good, glad someone else thought of it first. And the ammo box on top of it was great camo, if nothin else, but I wonder if an ammo box heals it? As it does count as ammo if you lose one and get next to an ammo box.

Had a lot of fun myself.

I actually enjoyed the MCOM match we played with just a few of us. Not too sure about 32 players on each side though...

I think I had about the most fun because it was only a few of us playing. That definitely made it eventful and nice vs the general mayhem that can turn to be a little overwhelming with the larger numbers.

I feel like a spectator to the game..... I'm watching it through my monitor but not actually playing anything - I'm not overwhelmed (or at least don't fell like it) I just haven't found a groove (yet?)

I certainly haven't gone all Duck over it and spent my work time involved in the game.
I log on - run around kill a few - die a lot and not care.

Gotta try some other classes I guess..... been trying Eng and Support exclusively - trying to get these elusive 2 more kills each and stay interested enough to stay on the server to the end to have it applied to the account.

I'll give the other two classes a go

Duck, it's been a lot harder for me to find a groove with this game as well. The best groove I've found it when I squad up with you guys. I think this game really needs a better squad communication system for pubbing.

Its the difficulty of the voice chat/communication in squad. You have to make a party and be friends with the person and have the forthought to set up the voice chat prior to entry. Not the most friendly.

More than once I've cursed the lack of squad comms when pubbing. Being able to simply say "Look Behind You" would have saved countless lives.

Hehe, like mine when I was trying to up the kill count on the SV98 and ended up getting somewhere in the range of 10 knife kills... The look behind you's definitely saved me once or twice. Really who doesn't clear a room before turning and setting up looking out of the door.
