    If we're going to play BF2 we should try not to get bent over and sodomized by jets to find a server that is playing that new map.

    If that new map screws with the mini image I'm not going to bother with it. It looks like they just have to fuck with us and thier ingame ads. Keeping around a 2yr old CD is bullshit.

    There are 2 reports that it doesn't mess with the image, over on PBF, only one that said it did. Might have been user error, as no one else is complaining.

    Well folks, looks like it's another ride on the Download Express this week. We're gonna give EA's Beta Jet/Armor whore map a ride. If you're late getting in-game, my advice: check TeamSpeak before you DL anything (if you haven't DL'ed it in advance, like Varg won't have 😛 ). I got a bad feeling about this one.

    We do not have to play this guys. Vanilla is fine for me.

    I just like the one quote: "It is a great armor whore map and if you like AT then this is for you."

    Me likey AT! 🙂

    I would be happy getting some good games using the map packs. All new levels that no one plays. <sigh>

    Anyway since there is even a possibility of it messing our games up, lets not bother.

    No. We are probably going to play vanilla BF2. I do not trust this new map yet.

    Maybe some I/O. You do not need anything special for that just make sure you are all patched etc...

    Just make sure you are in TS and have a key assigned for talking. Always PTT in TS.

    I'm feeling better. This sinus infection is almost gone. I'd like to try to play a bit and see how I'm doing.

    Paladin, I disagree. No one said anything about it messing up BF2. A few mentioned it messed up their mini image. To me, that is a non-issue. It's a convenience and not a requirement.

    I would like to check out this map, especially while it's "hot".

    The truth is man, I do not want to hear it when it messes someone up or is just such a bad air map that everyone bitches the entire night.

    So I vote no on it after all. If you guys do do it, it is not my fault 😉

    MAJOR storm here at the moment. I will probably play but if the electric goes out or it gets really bad I am shutting the computer off. So I may not be there or if I leave suddenly, you will know why 😉

    Hehe, yah, really. It is bad out and looks like some power failures are coming again. See ya if I can get there.


    Ps. anyone install that map yet. Linky was broke and I really didnt want to mess up the mini image.

    I' glad I was able to stick around for a while. I'll be there next week for sure as long as we get out of the field in time. Sorry I had to bail early tonight to take care of some stuff.

    Once we got off that original server we started to get the ball rolling in the right direction. It was a good time, Thanks

    Sorry guys. I fell asleep watching a show after a busy day and just woke up. I've got a two hour drive in the morning so I'm going back to bed.

    Hope to be on tomorrow night however.

    Lag City for me.....

    I think it has potential. It really felt like Eastings 74 for the few minutes I played it.

    Hymen showed up and played a few rounds with us....

    I had fun last night until the helo raping at the end.... Hymen and I were talking and it occurred to me, remember when helo raping became an issue in BFV? Didn't they actually try to implement something to put a stop to it? Remember, if you stole the enemy chopper, it couldn't be repaired on the pad? Why didn't they include that in BF2...... ARGH!

    Well to be fair we did not really play the new map. Atomm your lag was also on the other servers remember. You rebooted and was then okay but we never went back to the new map. You even said it was probably not the map.

    We spend all of 1 min on the new map, hardly any time to say it sucked.

    I had a very good time though. It was a fun night and we all worked together it seemed.
