Friday Night Fights -06/29/07

I wanted to thank everyone who showed up for our FNF, especially our friend from the ICE clan, "Whoshotme". It was a great night of teamwork, and a strong effort was shown by all.

I want to officially call "Shenanigans" on the one server who shall remain nameless, however. As we all know, Sarge simply does NOT get Purple Hearts, and I hereby declare this for all time as one of our foolproof methods of shenanigans-detecting. I'm glad we moved on to a new server. It was fun to see Atomm get his dander up a bit. It's about time some besides me did!

I agree. I am unsure exactly what was different but for the most part everyone really seemed to concentrate on teamwork more than usual and it showed. We lost but I did not care in any way as we put up a good fight and I felt we were trying as a team. It made the games much more fun than usual.

I really hope that keeps up.

Oh and Doc, I say we use any server where I do NOT get a purple heart as an indication of one to always play on. 😉

Hmmm.. Atomm was tryin' to rag me cause I was in a chopper for a change 😉 About halfway through the map I started getting dizzy from the blurring so I went back to ground.

Actually last night I had a positive kill ratio. I guess it pays to be on the opposite side with the hackers 🙂

I think we stuck together, picked a goal and stayed with it, and fed each other info. We did a good job taking and/or keeping the MEC airbase. I especially liked our games on Jalalabad. AT and Engy's work well together, much better than either alone.

Oh, absolutely, I want to play on THAT server! 🙂

I don't know about that last server. I don't know if they were hacking or just really good spawn campers. I died a lot immediately upon spawning - usually with 2 guys looking at me. Some of that was just me foolishly spawning into a hot flag, but what are you going to do?

Or next to Paladin, he will either get a stray teamkill 🔫 on you or save an enemy by jumping in front of a rocket... Silly Paladin trying to be all noble and saving hero and stuff.. good thing I still have it in my heart for him and my shock paddles... [just imagining that he is the enemy helps the aim] 😏

Lexx, I don't remember getting on to you for flying a helo? In fact, I appreciated having someone in a helo for a change. I would dare say, you are our best Helo pilot. Now, I do remember saying something when you took off without a gunner. 😛

Oh and when you first showed up and I was taking on a whole squad by myself, down to just a pistol taking out the last guy and you show up and cap me in the head. Yea, I called you a bitch on that one... But I meant it from the bottom of my heart. Way down low...... 😈

I'm sorry for the tirade guys. It was what, 2am CST? Later? I was really getting tired. I think I had been up since about 6am. I apologize now for coming undone. For the record, I was waiting on the tank to spawn at Backyard. I was clearly standing there for a reason. This guy comes up, stands there too, then jumps in before I can and takes off with it. What pissed me off the most was I wanted it because I knew they were bringing their tank up from the power plant and I knew we needed it for defense.

I never thought I would see the day when people would whore anything other than planes, but that night, I saw a tank whore......

Overall, it was fun. Saw Bazooka today and he said he had a blast as well.

I do believe my favorite moment all night was when I was lining up to take a shot and Paladin walks right in front of me and I shoot him in the butt. He was on my team, but for some strange reason, I took great satisfaction in putting a cap in his ass! :-P
