GRB Clan Tag for BFBC2

There is a seperate spot to add a clan tag. Use |GRB| and it will add a reticle in place of the |.

Silly question, will I become *GRB*GRB_DUck? If so will switch over to Slugnutty or my old M730A2 for multiplayer name as I'm SURE Duck is already taken - my check on Dduck though too

Yea. That's why I wanted to throw that out there. No matter what you call yourself, it's still Duck, the Angry Kid, M730A2 to us. 😛

And if you guys want to change the Tag, I'm fine with that. I just did that because it's what we've always used. It just happened they changed the image. I thought G|R|B might look cool too.

Messed around, but can not figure out how to create a new user name ..... even started a new game and still has original name.... Just may have to live with |GRB| GRB_Duck

Fixed now Multiplayer name Slugnutty so it displays |GRB| Slugnutty

How.... I got roped into "|GRB|Bubba" as my name when the clan tag came up I was like ooo shit not again.

I tried to warn you Bubba..... See if you can change your name to Bubbaspanky and then just do the Clan tag seperately.

NOW is the time to do it as we've only played what ~2 hrs online. Not a lot of EXP lost - That's why I changed to Slugnutty - I could not get any reasonable iteration of Duck and there are no other morphs of Slugnutty in the game..... Like Dr. Pepper I'm an official original.

Don't remember if Atomm posted but the clan tag space will automatically put the pipes in fornt of and after GRB so if you type |GRB| in clan tags you end up with |*GRB*|

Clan tags can also be edited at any time. If you want to change the name of your soldier, you have to start fresh with XP.

How do I start a fresh soldier though, that is what I could find last night

I will change to Bubb@ as I used in BF2

Had a hell of a time starting a new Soldier - but log off and I waited 30 min - when I re-logged it had choose a player or Create new.

I did not see that if I was playing and backed out to the main menu it had to be from a fresh start to see create new.

Yeah, I think I got the prompt to login an existing soldier or create a new one after the game restart when I updated punkbuster.

BTW, still hate the bullshit PB puts you through. I had a fresh install last night of both the game and PB and was PB was out of date. You'd think they could manage updating it to the most recent version as part of the install. Also would have thought that after two years they might have fixed the "punk buster cannot update on its own" crap and booting you from the game to do a manual update.

Yea, PB is a pain, but considering the cheating that went on in other games that refused to use it, I think it's worth the hassle.

Did yours look like asterisks? Mine looked like crosshairs which I thought was cool. And us being caught in the crosshairs is probably appropriate given our newbishness in the game.

Yea Sarge, I really liked the Crosshairs too. I just used * to represent it.

Let's change it to G*R*B with the crosshairs.
