    Who doesn't have it yet?

I'm super excited, but not sure when I'll have time to play.

Enjoy! They are fun. Pay special attention to the Assignments to unlock the "new" guns 🙂

I am impatient.. yet I did not wake up early enough thanks to my little tranquilizer to get a round in this morning...

Now to get home early and find me some HC Karkand.

Ha, Origin crashed horribly! Someone didn't prepare for this load. Not the brightest of ideas to release a big DLC + SWTOR Early Access on the same day.

Can't log in at all right now.

The DLC was [should have been] part of that last client patch a week or so ago, it should have been a simple matter of updating the website/battlelog and getting all of the servers set. All the new faces from SWTOR will almost always crash a set though.. I am not sure of a single launch day for an MMO that went flawless.. at least not in recent times. Unless you are talking f2p and even then..

true about the content already being downloaded, probably the sheer number of people logging in and trying to order the DLC didn't help much.

Other than Attom and myself has anyone managed to step into Karkand and take a gander?

I managed to play a Rush mode of Karkand.. it was interesting, a bit of an explosion fest but I got a few mortar kills so that made me happy. Then jumped into Large Conquest on the Bell and had a look around. The lack of the Fog of War is delightful. You can now see the entire map from the sniper building, the whole thing looks beautiful. There are a few new galleries to walk thru and open 'shops' in the buildings, the fire escapes have been replaced with rooms inside of the buildings, the railroad you can no longer crawl thru, the vehicle spawns are different, more jeeps and less ifvs. Everything seems taller.

Attomm was complaining about the back flag on the island being moved.. 'shrug'

Was able to get a couple of rounds in on Karkand last night and it seems a pretty good port of the original. Definitely some tweaked flag locations but a lot of it was familiar.

Been playing it since the 6th... Enjoy the maps but have nothing special to say about them... Wake = meh due to there being too much travel to do anything as I tend to be on foot, but I deal and move on... Flag placement feels good to me on all maps/locations...

That's the problem with the game I've found (what little I've played)
Every one wants to run hither and yon.

Oooh an enemy flag lets run 5 min to go cap it and while we're at it die 7 times and possibly get some cap points.... oopsies' the flag we were at is now in enemy hands....... NEWS FLASH! lets slog it BACK to that flag and re-cap it.

I've always preferred to camp a flag and hold it over the off to grannies we go routine.
Unfortunately - one person does not make a strong deterrent.

Duck, it sounds like Rush is a better game mode for you.

I know when I get tired of the "Run 5 miles to run back 5 miles" routine, I will play a little Rush to break that feeling...

I prefer Conquest by far, but sometimes a little Rush helps here and there 🙂

I completely agree... if you are talking about BF2. For the most part all the flags are so damn close that it takes such a short time to travel between them that the ebb and flow is not horrible. That being said, if the distances hold up on the new maps.. well lets say I will be amicable to the complaint once again.
