Mother of all Custom BF2 Maps

No wonder we can't find much in the way of custom maps for BF2. PBF isn't supporting them. When was the last time you saw a custom map listed on PBF?

However, the guys at Battlefield Singleplayer are doing a great job of tracking custom maps.

First, check out this german site. These maps look great!

There is absolutely no reason for EA to keep these maps off thier ranked list. They could get them for free and distribute them in community packs.

A bunch of those maps are in the USI mod, more are in Nations At War and Some are in Project Reality as well.

Mr. Burns [Ger] also has done some of the Eve Of Destruction maps.

I really like the look of the ATOM map..... Is that in any of the mods?

Yeah It's in NAW I think. It was in our custom map pack too.

So the 3 map packs that are already out do not count? That is a lot of maps to discount. The few we played were not that bad.

I don't remember many good things about the ones I played. They seemed raw to me. Granted, we didn't try them all. . .

It's not a big deal at this point. We've got Dcon coming tomorrow, EoD out in April, Quake Wars in June. . .things are starting to happen. I wish we had word on a summer release for Frontlines, though.

So, anyone following things in a Dcon forum? If you know of a good one, a link would be cool.

In fairness man we hardly tried more than 6 or so of the 3 map pack maps tops. The more I think about it I only played about 4 that ONE night. Have you played more than that one time we tried them. Also remember that was before a few patches that did help things a bit.

As for other games, yes I am excited and I hope they are fun.
