Any one interested in an old school 1942 or BF2 throw back night?
(none loaded so if there is interest - I'll need to find and load sw....)
But may be fun.....
Might as well throw in the CoD series too
I have a server that we could install on. I am up for it, though I will say the last time we threw back to BF1942, we found it didn't hold up anymore.
I will admit I have been playing COD W@W lately
I find that I like the "tactical" W@W servers best.
Move in crouch or with sights up when moving. No running - less duchebagery'
With COD4 I ran on a tactical server for quite a while then they disappeared. I never found another that was so much fun. a lot of them seem far too insane, it also gets a little annoying the constant fighting and bickering... "so and so left his crouch position" and yelling at n00bs too stupid to understand tactical. They need to be well admin'd
never tried with W@W, but that is how I play even on regular servers to a large extent
I never got into W@W all that much and can't likely play it with my current video card. BF42 will run on my card, but like Bubba said, it's time has passed (Long Live BF42!).
So in short, I'd say I'm a no on an old game night.
