Woohoo! Another map! Now we just need 12 more and it will be awesome!
Operation Hastings Unlocked
-
#1 -
#2 Phu Bai Valley with 1 more flag in a Diamond shape with the elevation of Hill 137 -
#3 I'm interested in seeing how they did it compared to the original from BFV. There were some great maps on BFV. There are several more I'd love to see. -
#4 I barley remember Hastings on BFV - trashed the disk so have not played BFV in years and have no longer have my reference. -
#5 I remember it very well due to use competing 8 vs 8 and I had to fly a Jet on that map. It was one of the hardest matches I've ever played.
In all honesty, there were a lot better maps than this. I wish they had picked something else. -
#6 Then not the one I was thinking of..... so, have you seen it yet? Thoughts? (anyone) -
#7 Sarge and I played it tonight. I remembered it from the minimap right a way, we used to pick it as our map for all our competitions I think. That said, on the ground, I had no clue how the map was laid out, so it's vastly different. -
#8 Played many rounds of this last night and I like it. Holding flags against dual tanks is tough but can be a lot of fun and there are lots of hiding places and different ways to get from flag to flag so you aren't funneled into a meat grinder anywhere. -
#9 Yea, I felt the same way. It didn't remind me of the original like I had thought, but like Sarge said, it can be hard, but definitely a lot of fun.
Had 10 kills on one round and got credit twice for 5 Headshots. So that means every kill was a headshot. It's one of those maps where peeps barely stick their heads out and I like that. :-) -
#10 Napalm I neeeeeeeed napalm muuuhaaahaaaahaaaaaa
(Still have not played it in depth) -
#11 When you get into Hastings, stop and take a look at the mountain on fire. It is one of the most impressive things I've ever seen in a game. It was awesome!
