    Maps - Battles from 1941-42:
    Bardia
    Siege of Tobruk
    Battle of Sfakia
    Sidi Resegh
    Operation Aberdeen
    Mersa Matruh
    Alam Halfa
    Operation Hyacinth
    El Alamein
    Operation Supercharge

Fireteams work like squads in Vanilla
There is a commander that can drop artillery and supply crates. Commander has to be in position 2 of the "command vehicle" to utilize the role. The command vehicle is an AEC "Dorchester" or "Mammut" 4x4 (same vehicle) painted appropriately for each side, and players should consider it reserved for the commander.

There is kit limiting in effect. Kit will be listed as "Kit unavailable" if the quota has bee used up. Only certain kits are limited.

Push Mode - capture/defend points in a specific order
Objective Mode - destroy, capture, or defend specific objectives
Goldrush - Capture the flag mode essentially where you need to capture the other teams "gold" while protecting your own.

There is a mine detector! Can disarm mines with the wrench. Mine detector also detects damaged friendly vehicles.

you can't toss mines. You have to lay down and place them - takes time to activate. You can place markers over your mines and if you have placed a marker and a teammate drives over it and dies you only get half of the tk penalty points (how generous 🙄 )

There is a whole bunch more in the manual. Download it and take a look

Sounds interesting, but I guess the days of WWII open ended fun ala 42 are over....

I don't know, it looks like it could be fun. I've heard that they have gone towards somewhat less "realism" and are more "arcady" than Battlegroup. I plan to check it out anyhow...

New in Forgotten Hope 3, In order to lay a mine, you have to walk to the munitions tent, purchase the needed parts all 243 of them, don't forget you need a requsition card from your squad leader before we will release the parts. Next you go back to your tent where you can assemble the parts, but first you will need your mine assembly table, you get that over in the 3rd level of Zork. Now that you have your assembly table and 243 parts you simply need to follow the assembly directions, they are 839 pages long. They are very explict, only remember you will need to recharge your wrench after each part.

GIVE ME MY WEIGHTED COMPANION CUBE!!!!!!!!!! 🙄

And you thought I was jaded..... 😛

Yea Sarge, I'm up for trying it. I've had some fun in BGF, but I've also had some really boring games too.

Either way, I still like one shot kills.... 😈
