Delayed until 2010...... I should have known better with DICE. This is just like a patch to them. They've probably moved 3/4th of the team off this project and onto something else.....
PMSL! I just knew they couldn't port a console to PC that quick.
Sadly as with UT3, this is the future of PC gaming.

Besides, with a $15 price tag, this really isn't going up against all those other games.
For the record, there are way more computers than Consoles. Seriously, who would even make such a comment.
What irks me the most is how DICE, who was built on the PC, has made us Second Fiddle.
Makes me really wonder about the price though. How do you think they intended to make any money on this, pay for a monthly subscription? Something is fishy.
From what I read, it actually came out of a side project some of the developers were doing for fun. A lot of the initial development didn't cost them anything.
I'm not sure if they plan on doing anything else for it, based on the comments DICE made. However, I think their model should be to release a $10 map pack.
I'm really, really hoping the BF community figures out how to make their own maps. Many people don't realize that the original BF42 mapping tools were home brewed. It's happened once, it could happen again.
They postponed the BF2 1.5 patch again and now this!?! I mean seriously, what more is there to say about it? I'm going to take a much more serious look at ARMA2 for my combined arms fix. This makes me sick. DICE can kiss my arse - this really p!$$3$ me off. What little BF fanboyism was left in me from BF1942 just shriveled up and died.

Sorry man. I've been offline for a week courtesy of Zeus. I've been hopping around online trying to catch up on a million things. That's a perfect example of what happens when I try to rush things.
Anyways I'm sure Doc was funny somewhere earlier in this thread... so technically I wasn't wrong. 😏
