So lately it seems the auctions have slowed down in DDO. But maybe they are picking up again. In any case I wanted to make a thread for future auction info as we notice it. Last night Atomm saw a collapsed portable hole for bid with 1 hr and something like 100k gp, needless to say he bid on it a couple times and left. I tried to win it for him, but I am glad to report, when I gave up it was over 250k. So Atomm, you didn't miss too good of a deal.

Dude, you didn't have to do that.... But thank you none the less......

Bubba's ends the soonest so if he wants it, buy it out first. He's not here yet for me to ask however.

I can get you the plat for the LS buyout at lunchtime today (or even could buy it then if still available). I don't have enough money to fund the two purchases however.

Let me know who wants what - I'll keep looking for Bbender too

If you can buy the mace for me for the 25k buyout, go for it. I think I have about 35k, but at the very least its like 20k and I will get you the last bit ASAP.

If you don't have enough let me know and I will give you my login

    I am a dwarf, right?
  11. #11
Yes. And in the game too.
  12. #12
LOL OK so Bubba first. I'll buy the 20K and then see if I have enough for Sarge too... in a small quest chain now will buy with in the hour.
  13. #13
Bubba prefer +1 or +2 heavy mace?
Can save 10K if we go +1
  14. #14
    Do the +2
  15. #15
Were set - you +2 Paralyzing heavy mace
Sarge - Paralyzing long sword plus an Enfeebling/sap long sword pair.
  16. #16
Yes. Thanks to some financial assistance from Duck, I now am the proud owner of a +1 paralyzing LS and a +3 crippling LS of enfeebling.

    Buyer beware....
Was online a min ago with the Bard and saw a +1 Vorpal great sword level 10

    SCORE!

Bbender woud be brutal with a Vorpal Great sword even at +1 - who cares? He crits 14 - 20 that would be so cool.

Snagged it for - 30K PLat. I thought the Vorpal Longsword was awesome for 90K Plat Vic has..... Kick up your heals.

Do the buy out - pick it up - put in shared bank for Bbender - switch accounts with dreams of destruction dancing in my head.
Bbender runs to bank - and LO' what do I see....... The sword is outlined in RED *gasp*

    Drow Elf ONLY

Drat - put it right back on auction - should sell fast - added 10K plat just for my troubles but a +1 Vorpal for 40K plat is a great price.... but still may be like Bubba and his Vicious sword FUBAR... but he sold too...

    Damn - Buyer beware.....

That sux, but maybe you'll make money at least. I had the same thing happen to a lesser extent when I bought some rather expensive +3 or 4 equipment from a vendor only to find that I already had something doing that and that it didn't stack and made no difference to my build at all.

Told Bubba the other day - I had a pair of Striding/tumble boots for Bbender, out of a chest got Striding/Vertigo

Needed the vertigo (balance) much more than tumble, ran to the auction place the Striding/Tumble boots for auction at 1/3 base just to get rid of them quick with a buy out of 2/3 base.

Went on a quest and needed my constant feather fall boots - and they were gone!
Yup - put them up for 1/3 base instead of the Striding/Tumble..... DOH!

Finished quest - ran to auction to cancel..... some one put a bid on them, but no buy out!
I could not cancel, but was able to buyout on my own boots.....
    *sigh*
At least I had them 2/3 base.....

I must have unlocked them in confusion at posting time.

FYI, the Cloack and the Trinket do not stack for Experience. You can use just one if you like. It's cool to have both, but I wish they had stacked.

The Trinket gives you +1 luck however which can be helpful. I don't use it all the time as I have a couple others that are helpful as well.

    BUT!
Paired together you get true seeing allowing you to see all secret doors and open them - see invisible, displaces and blurred creatures aas if they were not.

A great help in the higher level quests - when we get to them, and this only happens when both are equipped (does not say in description but happens when there together)

  27. #27
Ah...... I haven't experienced that yet.... Thanks for the reminder Duck......
  28. #28
The doors outline in yellow like a Rogue found them - it just happens when your in the vicinity - you don;t even have to be actively looking for them.
    They just happen.

The displacement, blur, invisible - you'll never know unless you are constantly taking one or the other off and on - the cancellation is seamless and just happens like the find secret doors is always persistent and active when the pair is on.
