Found The Undead Beholder

    Let's just say when I broke open the door, that was the last thing I expected to see. Thing kept going Encorpeal on me. I survived the fight by running away, but 11 Negative Levels and a Con of 2 will do wonders to your hit points. I have no idea how I managed to stay alive. sheesh.

    I miss my sealed soul. Not use to Negative levels lately.

    What quest is that on? I don't remember seeing an undead beholder anywhere.

    Ghosts of perdition has one, don't remember any others.

    No I think the one Atomm is talking about is in Soami Gardens - Reavers wilderness area of the undead.

    North West of left hand shrine behind the door in the second building on the left.
    I still have not found him... know RIGHT where he is... but damned if I have ever seen him.

    Yep, I can take you right too him if you like. :-)

    And I actually tried to fight it out, but once he held me and I was at 2 hp's out of 48, I knew I was in trouble and high tailed it out of there as soon as the hold wore off.

    I'm sure it might have been easier if I was prepped for an Ethereal Beholder or even if I had a cleric hireling. Either way, I'd still rather do this as a group.

    That event was right up there with the best moments on comms ever. I think the only thing that would have made it better was if I had been in game to witness it at the same time 😀

    It was almost as good as the night the strippers visited us in TeamSpeak.


    Thanks for the info as to where the thing is. I don't think I've ever done Ghosts of Perdition (or don't remember it at least). I haven't been in Soami Gardens enough times to see it either.

    Yeah I tried to solo the undead Beholder... as a cleric. It was ugly, though I didn't die. That said... I didn't kill him either. As for Ghosts, that was one fo the funnier moments. Top will always be fruity ass knifing Atomm and Duck and I simultenously kicking each other via admin console in BF 42 CTF as we were both about to cap and also inadvertanly banning each other.

    It was me announcing on TS that I just been knifed by Fruity Ass, then realizing why everyone was laughing at me...... 😛

    I didn't know about the BF42 kick. That is freaking hilarious.....

    I wish I could remember the whole situation, I know that there was a whole mess. I remember the map even. But I think we both ended up banned and maybe the map reset because there weren't enough players.. it was a whole mess but I remember tears in my eyes over the whole thing.

    ...note to self look in archives here, we must have recounted the story here in detail at some point.
