Hey GamersRadio you're pretty cool

Ran my first Epic content today - VoN 1 and then VoN2 - they are really different than normal quests.... beside the damage needed to kill and received.

As you've seen once you get to lvl 20 you have no need for experience any more - so players will call for a pause - D-Door out - leave the quest and hit the inn for repair, spell points - even had a part where we really needed DPS so the Bard and one of the Soc's left and got their fighters - we fought down the two mobs - they left again and came back with their original Bard and Sorc.....

All completely legal as the party is not tagged with exit exp penalty.


I was a bit "gun shy" jumping right in to Epic the day after I hit 20 - the new n00b on the block and all.
But when it was all said and done I was right in the middle of the kill count and did not die in either map..... which has to count for something.

Had a WTF moment - the Rogue was lvl 19 Rogue lvl 1 Fighter - came to a chest that was locked - he said "I'm not a Rogue I'm a Fighter" - um..... well...... OOOOOOOOK
Long pregnant pause from the group and then one of the guys asked again if he heard that right.... he repeated "I'm not a Rogue I'm a Fighter"

we moved on in silence......

When we broke up after VoN2 one of the ChaosKnights said "Hey GamersRadio you're pretty cool" I don't think I've run with any of your guildies - told him we're a new small guild he said that he'd be happy to take other GRB guild members on Epics again.... if you all were as cool as I was...

Waaa haaaa haaaaa - So I said oh yah - we're all pretty much just a like - laughing my ass off knowing how much you all would love knowing you're all "just like me" now.

Then the guy from Noble by Design and the guy from Epic Failure also agreed - Gamers Radio was cool enough to run with and invite again on Epic runs.

That's awesome..... Of course, as it stands now, I'm more squishy than I have ever been. Not sure I could hang with your l33tness.....

Played with some DDO founders last week / week end.

Stormbringers: real cool group of guys and girls - founding clan of DDO.
Lessah (See sig...) Samius, Uggh - all good people and apparently thought I did well enough to get a private invite to a few more maps they were running.

Got to play with a Turbine guy too Tolero - looks like you get the big names to play with you when your "old school DDO"

Big shoulders man - big shoulders...I don;t think it was a flop - we finished and that's what counts.... right?
It was just though luck that you died and got zapped un-buffed two times in a row from that Black Dragon.... that's not a fail - that's shit luck and bad timing on resurrection clickies....

I might suggest Death Pact a lvl 8 spell

The spell allows you to enter a pact with your diety that brings you back to life after you are slain. While under the effects of this spell, your constitution is decreased by two, and cannot be restored until you rest.

In any new quest - or a hard area that I know I may die Durrzo always casts that on him self.... if I die I get Durrzo would like to Raise fromt he dead Durrzo. Do you accept Durrzo's offer?

Funny - but a life saver in a few maps.

That is a great point. I think I have a slot being wasted at that level too.
