I have a question about how the Hard and Elite options work.

If a player has done normal and hard, but someone joins their group that has not done normal, will it allow you do the higher rated quests or are you limited to the lowest required rating?

I think as long as one person has gone through normal, hard will be available to all in the party. If one has done hard, then elite will be available to all. (I think)

I think that's true, but I wanted confirmation.

    That is true.

Only one member of the party has to have the quest level unlocked for the rest of the party to have it available as an option to them. Note: The memeber with the harder difficulty levels unlocked need to have the quest before another party member will see the next level option when entering the quest.

Elites give the Max Favor points per quest

Hard on down to Solo give decreasing levels of Favor Points.

-Note Favor Points for Quests -=Do Not Stack=- the increase to the next level, i.e. You do Quest AbC Which gives 5 Pts for Solo and 15 Pts for Elite, if you do just the Solo you will get 5pts and if you do all the quest difficulties through to Elite then the point value rewarded for that questline will be raised to the max awardable at 15 Pts [adding the difference of 10 to your previous 5]
