It's coming - we're getting new races, now classes, new PRE-specs to existing classes, new content and raids.

Bubba mentioned last FNF that he was thinking of starting a new character - you know I love starting new characters - Sarge your close to 20 and I know you've worked hardest to get there - do you have any interest in starting a new class and trying it all over again?

How about making them perma-death and only playing them together..... (just a thought.... not sure how I like that idea)

I will definable be slowed down a bit as I went too wild over on Sarlona and blew my bank of Turdbind points on getting my Monk suitable for play - only to find that a monk the second time around is not nearly as fun as the first go. (for me at least)

So kids what do you think? All new rolls for a whole new set of laughs?
Atomm - if we do this over again - think you'll be able to start up again with us.... you are missed bud.

  2. #2
I might add I'm speaking of Argonnessen where we're obviously at home.
  3. #3
Do we all have enough favor to start with Vet?

I wouldn't be opposed, but I can't say for sure that i will stick with this for too much longer. God I would love to get to a 32pt build for this, but I don't see it happening. ~300 or so away ( I think)
  4. #4
My last big point binge was to purchase Fav Soul, Vet, 32 Point so I can and will start as that.
  5. #5
I've got the points to do Vet.

What are the new classes/races? That could be fun.

I still want to do a Sorcerer, but might consider something else.

I still want to play, but I'm still leery of getting sick.

  6. #6
If I do a bunch of favor runs, I can get to veteran pretty quickly (I think). I want to say that I'm 300 or so away from veteran as well, but I can't recall exactly.

I have no idea what class I would do. No idea if I could stomach bringing a new character all the way up again....
  7. #7
War Forged Sorc / Wiz - slightly less jumping and fighting more in the rear tossing spells - plus the ability to self repair if your looking it to that type of play.

Hard to level at low levels as you're VERY dependent on the group for protection and muscle but the tipping point is (everyone say it with me.... ) firewall.
(U7 will be adding ice wall also which will do cold and bludgeoning damage)

Some of the Prestige classes for Sorc/ Wiz will be school specializations as in specialize in Evocation get to cast Grease (That's a party buff right Bubba?) for 1 spell point in place of 15 sp but you permanently lose 25 spell points to take the pre.

But there will be 5 levels of "School master" for each of the 5 schools - you'll lose spell points but gain 5 major spells with the ability to cast them at 1 sp each...... they did well with the idea - will be cool to see the implementation.

I know Bubba groaned - but now that I have the game understood, I may actually try an Elf Paladin.... they say if you like the monk - you should have the key manipulation down for the clickies of Paladin.

Atomm - I'd love to get you back in the game, lets talk about what you think you'd like maybe we can figure out a good fit.

Have you also thought about a Bard.... there the easy button too. Sing at the beginning, stand back and sing again when songs get low.... the Charisma is huge for bards so your UMD is also high so they make great second line healers, and every one expects a bard to sing and then move to the rear.... would keep the dizzy down to a minimum.

    Just thinking out loud.
  8. #8
The we need to spend some time grinding low level quests doing Hard and Elite for Sarge to get vet.
Just zerge the lowest level quests he has that are not yet run on E to get the 300 for Vet.

    YAH?
  9. #9
I am also almost exactly 300. So I am in though I ran all the Korthos on E already.
  10. #10
I don't think I ever did most of the Korthos stuff with the Monk, but I can't remember that far back. I should be able to solo most of that on E, but I might need someone to open the quests (or I'll need to run them several times I guess).
  11. #11
    Durrzo 1561 Favor
    Junfann 1345 Favor
    Dduck 1099 Favor

So Bubba your at 300 Favor? Or 700 Favor and need 300 more?
  12. #12
Sarge wrote:I don't think I ever did most of the Korthos stuff with the Monk, but I can't remember that far back. I should be able to solo most of that on E, but I might need someone to open the quests (or I'll need to run them several times I guess).

I can open them all at E, they are all quick. I did them all on hard then Elite in one sitting.

Part of me says do the grind to get the 32pt build, part of me says save this grind for the new character.

One thing I would say, is if we are going to do this, maybe we shoudl character plan as a group. That way we can try to balance as much as possible. Make sure we have everything we need for the 4 of us. I would like to be more tankly with a new character. Be nice to have so roug-i-ness somewhere somehow (no one wants to play a rouge). Maybe we can find 1 or two new guild-ys in Korthos (target by class)

  13. #13
Good idea - I'll bring up the rear to let everyone have their say first before I cast my character.
  14. #14
Count me in! I had to delete my aggro toons because for some reason I kept getting logged into that server while on sarlona... was a really fun HOX raid! really! lol ahem... anyway..

There is a pretty spiffy tank build I've been wanting to try out, so unless there is someone who really enjoys playing a turtle all day I can do that. I have other things I am considering if someone does enjoy tanking.
  15. #15
So Duck you doing a FS or a Paladin?

We are lacking a healer, and honestly, I would like to try something different than my main.

    Atomm- Finger Wiggler
    Kit- Tanky
    Me-Tanky

    Sarge?
  16. #16
Do we want to go the route of posting to the forums looking for someone to play approx XYZ times, to be an XYZ class with a new guild running together.
  17. #17
pish.. didn't notice the call for bomb squad.. I'm down for that also..
  18. #18
Remember Bubba - Tankie is turtle very little damage output with massive AC to turtle up take the hits and aggro keeping the attention of the bad guy wile the rest of us beat it down.

Opposed to DPS build "tankie" the true damage dealer - stand in the middle and hell-be-dammed - you -die-before-I-die character.

Still leaning toward Paladin but I suppose I can think of TR'ing Durrzo in to Durrzo for a second round of FS - but this time more toward healing then melee spell casting.
I know Pal's are not stellar healers but can get by quite nicely as a back up/wand/scroll healer and can start using cure critical wands at level 4 where it takes level 14 to cast the spell for the class.... we may get by - but for how long I have no idea.

Will still wait for class selection until all replies in - also look at it this way if I TR at least it will take me x2 exp per level of non-TR classes..... so it could slow me down a it to satay level equal.

@ Kit - I know about your work schedule, just as a reminder - our typical heay play nights are Friday nights 9pm EST (Your time) to - 1, 2, 3am Sat morning and also 9pm EST Sat night to about midnight or 1 am Sun....

You and I run a close day time schedule so no problems there - just don't want to lose you level wise over the weekends.

  19. #19
Yes I plan DPS type tank.

Maybe Sargy will want to play a healer role.

Duck you should play Pal, that seems to be what you are into.

Kit... choose what you like. Any interest in Healer?

I would hate to ask anyone to be a fulltime rouge. I ran one to lvl 4 and gave up on him
  20. #20
In an attempt to find out about update 7, I've been reading today a bit about a "clonk" which could be a Cleric/Monk or a Cleric/Monk/Rogue and that sounds intriguing. Other than that, I haven't spent really any time thinking about this.

Glad to see you're interested in joining the circus Kit. 😀

I'd say that if we could find a couple of people to fill out a party that wouldn't be a bad thing

I think it's time to purge some of the guild members who haven't been around in a long time or aren't coming back. Pare us down to those that participate only. I'm going to purge my Dwarf fighter that I never used just so I can reuse the name 😀

  21. #21
Atomm I have a name suggestion for your finger wiggler
    Skylicks

  22. #22
yeah I know the standard times are a little off, but I do generally run at night when I get home from work. Sort of helps me sleep when I get to take my waitress anger out on unsuspecting mobs.
bomb squad, or turtle or maybe fvs would be my prefs.. I actually dont mind running bomb squad.. weird eh?
  23. #23
Female finger wiggler with issues.... I like it.
  24. #24
Spending more time at work thinking about this than I should be....

On Bubba's suggestion, I'm considering a Favored Soul which would address the party healing needs as well as give me the ability to bash things (which I badly need). I've got a boatload of long swords already that my dormant ranger is not using and I'm curious as to if the half-elf will gimp or enhance that class.
  25. #25
Charisma is your spell point pool, Wisdom is the DC for your spell penetration with a FS - if you go Long sword then you could take the Favored by the Sovereign Host which makes you proficient in Long swords. FS get quite a bit of +'s to hit and damage in their selected line.

No reason why we can't have a pair of FS either would be cool to have a pair of hot shot damage/healer types.

Half-Elf should be OK as I do not think they are penalized in Wis or Cha - also remember by level 7 you'll want a Dex of 17 to be able to start up the two handed fighting line (So start w 15 Dex and eat a +2 when your ready to level from 6 to 7)

If you splash with 2 levels of Monk you get all the goodness of wis and dex for AC adder and you can re-go for a new set of Icy's that took me to AC 54 by doing that at the penalty of about 500 spell points and 4 high level spells. (lvl 8 and 9) which to some degree hindered my overall damage out put for better AC..... doing it again? I still probably would as the Evasion is worth it to me in the long run.

  26. #26
    Thinking WF 18/2 Sorc/Monk.

  27. #27
    Atomm wrote:Thinking WF 18/2 Sorc/Monk.

Remember Sorcs' need Charisma for their spelll points and War Forges start out with -2 Charisma - Also the whole know what you want with your spells as it's a ball buster to change them - where as a Wiz is Intelligence based and WF have no negative Int modifier and can know all Arcane spells in the game and can change them in a lot of areas.

Just an FYI - Kit may be able to expand a whole bunch if you have any finger wiggler questions as she is a level 20 nuker over on Sarlona.
  28. #28
Wait - favor runs..... I thought we needed 1750 - but I just looked that up and 1750 is unlocking 32 point builds, you only need 1000 favor for veteran status to start the game at level 4.
So which favor are yo both running for?

    Drow - 400 Favor
Unlocks the Drow race on that particular server.

    Veteran Status - 1,000 Favor
Future characters can start at level 4

NOTE: You can still access the initial quest (The Grotto) and earn the starting equipment. After creating a veteran character; if you die before using a Spirit Binder, then you respawn at the Grotto as if you were level 1, but you are still level 4. BUT you will be Snowy Side upon completion of the Grotto. Although, after being on the snowy side, if you talk to the person who sends you to stormreach near the port, you can choose to be on the sunny side.

    Champion - 1,750 Favor
Receive a +2 Attribute Tome of your choice Bound to Character and unlocks 32-Points build for new non-Drow characters

    Favored Soul - 2,500 Favor
Unlocks the Favored Soul class on that particular server.

    Revered - 5,000 Favor
    Currently unachievable
  29. #30
Damn I posted to this earlier. I was running to get 1750 favor for the 32 point build, I have had vet or lvl 4 for a while
  30. #31
🤦 I'm trying to get the 32 build as well. Guess I'll have to buy the Favored Soul class if I end up wanting to do that for my new character. It's on sale on the 28th for 50% off which is of course a few days before my subscription points come in 🙁
  31. #32
    RE warforged monk/sorc:
I would go wizzie. I loves me my sorc, but my bet is that if you want to splash monk with caster, go for wiz. You wont get the racial drop in spell points that way, and being a toaster you are going to be changing out spells pretty consistently (self heal) until you get reconstruct... which at that lvl is really all you need if your repair skill is high enough. Also it takes forever to get the nuking spells, they hit like a tank but you definitely have to wait for them, and unless you have a lot of plat laying around you aren't going to want to have to pay to change out 1 spell every 3 days...
    RE favor on agro:
I have none, so I'll be starting out at lvl 1 on a 28 pt build. yay me! lol. Fortunately it takes about an hour or so to get to lvl 4.
I'm thinking I'll go ahead and roll up bomb squad, they are usually in high demand on lower lvls and I can always re-spec when I get higher to an assassin if I feel the need. I'll let you know the name of my toon once I get it set.
  32. #33
    Bub - Fighter or Barb
    Duck - Paladin
    Atomm - Wiz
    Sarge - FS
    Kit - Rouge

Looks like a good group. Maybe we can pick up a bard or another fighter type in the low levels
  33. #34
Rolled up my toon. Name is KitShade.. sort of a test of a build I've been working on so it might suck.. and it might rock.. but I figure this way I can get her up to 4 ahead of time.

    Ummm so more about U7....

Players will now see their Dragontouched Armor Runes! Here's an Eldritch Rune.

i.e. now you will know what you are adding, doesn't really change things though... because well, you get what you get.

Not sure if this means it's available to everyone on Lammania on the 24th or everyone everywhere. Guessing the former as I think they said 7 would be released in October previously.

  38. #39
Here are full release notes for Level 7 release on Lammania. They are long and affect most everyone in some manner. Also a lot of information on the new races and major changes to some classes.

Monks take notice of this especially:
Update 7 release notes wrote:The Touch of Death damage effect is now classified as Negative Energy and possesses a Fortitude Save for half damage.

They also revamped the Shintao Monk significantly as well. May be worth checking out the light side again....

They barfed our ToD Those BASTARDS!
    Will read with baited breath.

Kit has joined GRB and we're grinding as much favor as quickly as we can during the day to see if we can get her Drow, Vet and 32 point A.S.A.P.

We're talking about having her pike while Jun runs the quests - there's a good chance that she may be on with us at nights too piking. Character name Kitshade. Class Rogue
  40. #41
Yeah I don't mind her piking while we run at night
  41. #42
So if you all are making new toons, I might be up for it. You tell me what class besides a rogue to make and I'm in. I wont be making a favored soul tho, dont have it unlocked.
  42. #43
I would say we have the bases pretty well covered. Pick what you like, be fun to have you back running with us
  43. #44
    Hellz yah!
Like Bubba said - I think we're generally solid on our character classes.

    Bub - Fighter or Barb
    Duck - Paladin
    Atomm - Wiz
    Sarge - FS
    Kit - Rouge

Looks like I'm interested in some of the new prestige lines of Wizard Archmage line and also like the addition of the Bard Warchanter II - What's not to like about a song called Inspire Recklessness.

But for the new core group - Paladin is my choice.... is Azhot taken as a name yet Bubba? (STFU!)
  44. #45
Hmm...perhaps a bard or a cleric then? Gimme some good builds for each there ducko.
  45. #46
Can do - but give me a better idea of what style?
Full Cleric, Battle cleric, Cleric splashed w/?
Bard - Warchanter, Spellsinger Staright Bard - Bard / cross (with ?) Fighting Bard or Buffing Bard (I was running a Bard/Barbarian mix that was cool, and there is a build called Mississippi Queen that has a phenomenal Haggle)

Race? Do you have Drow? Do you have 32 point build? Vet Status?

Point me in a direction you may think you'd like and I'll post up some build links.
  46. #47
I have drow, 32 pt. build and veteran status. So yeah.
I dunno perhaps a fighty cleric? Or a buffer cleric, not sure.
If you all already have a healer you don't need me to main heal. I just want a class thats gonna have alot more to do then my rogue does.
  47. #48
Battle Cleric - More fighty than Bubba's healer possibly with a splash of "X" a little buffing at the start - fight like hell and worry about heals after the fight.

    On it.
  48. #49
On Sorc vs Wiz, what about casting speed? I remember reading about the differences and thinking I would like Sorc better, but now I don't know why..... Hmmmm......

I like the Sorc get's more SP with the bonus items. I also like the idea of being somewhat limited on spells. Less to deal with at any given time.

  49. #50
Yah I think the Sorc casts faster too come to think of it. The only thing that sucks is that spell selection issue - but your right - a little forethought about the selection and become the arcane cannon.

Check out Sarges link on Wizard Enhancements - may be some new things in U7 that may sway you one way or the other.

    http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=206066

But all in all no real issues Wiz over Sorc - play what you want as long as your happy with it and DAMN IT don't marry the class is it starts sucking.

    http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=206066
  50. #51
Ok, I think I may play Wizard. Still looking into it. We all know I play slow, so the slower cast rate won't make much difference. The SP still kind of sucks, but as a noob, I'll probably be better off being able to trade out spells to learn them all.

Hmmm, can't find a good 18/2 Wizard/Monk build, but I have found decent Sorcerer/Monk builds. Dang.....

  51. #52
As our higher level toons run content we can keep eyes out for Arch-Magi and Magi DP items for you to add to your spell pool/

See your other post - will read them in the AM - off to bed right now.
  52. #53
You'll notice these are all older builds, where the level caps were 14 or 16 - follow the splash levels added to the Cleric class and just raise your Cleric level according - most of these builds will not allow you level 9 spells (need to be Cleric level 17) but meh I'm not sure how many times other than Summon Monster IX a hezrou bubba calls... and most of the time it's just to fill in space when we duo-trio quests.

I note the name (Impaqt) as I've followed a few of his builds (Or at least started them and then tailored them to my style) but his ideas are solid.

I've made sure non of the builds specify Named Epic items or nothing higher than +2 tomes (Yah ther are buiolds out there assuming you can find +4 and +5 tomes (+5 not even released yet from Turdbind))
Other builds are using named gear - but were getting pretty good now at running quests for gear (and U7 will now tell us if items you pick up are bound to character or account..... a nice plus)

    In no particular order.

  54. #56
Nope - online now - just updating Canith server for some thing or other, and my account and my DDO stuff is off line....

Chomping at the bit to create the new toon but will impatiently wait until update to make sure nothing changes after update.... settled on Human and not Elf though and a Khopesh user - just for something different.
  55. #57
Those wraps look very interesting. Pair those with my GS Cloak (assuming I ever craft the third tier) and that could be extremely nasty 😈

Those gems could be useful too. So often I get 1/2 the set and can't complete it.
  56. #58
All of the Bootsd or Bracers that would go with the Gem are actually available from Korthos island quests..... sunny side level 1 stuff.
kind of cool 1 gem and a few pair of boots - good start -
  57. #59
So I spent about an hour downloading the test serv, just to spend about 20 min drooling before shutting down.
Half-elf looks awesome, I have to admit. Perfect for a paly build with huge bonus for intim and diplo, and something else.. hide maybe.. but no weaknesses. Looks like you also will get what amounts to two levels of another class without actually taking the other class.. example sorc has a little paly splash, ranger has a little rogue splash, bard has fighter splash etc... Can't actually BUY the things right now because I have not TP on that server so I don't know if you get to pick that in a custom build, but I would think so..

And good god, the sortable inventory? This I cannot wait for.

Going to check out the baby raid now I think..
  58. #60
Don't tell me that damn it. I just made up my mind on the Khopesh and that meant Human for the feat. I've been grinding sands with my 20's for extra Bloodstone - Ring of spell storing and Dynastic Falcata (Have three of them so far) and Dusk Heart (x2 and counting)

Does the 1/2 Elf get two feats at level 1 like a human (oh please oh please oh please) or just the 1 like every one else?
  59. #61
lol wish i could tell ya duck man!
  60. #63
Possibly will use Kopesh but haven't made it that far into my character development to be sure.
  61. #64
Read some "reviews" of the half-elf race from people on the preview server and for the most part the response has not been very positive. Out of a dozen or so I saw one positive and a few really negative with the rest being boiled down to "meh".
  62. #65
Yah the Dilettante bonus feat is OK for low levels and it does not interfere with other feats, but really - meh.

Still bouncing around Human, Elf, Drow for race, Drow gives me starting bonus to Charisma and Dexterity that will go along way in the build.
Still have time to think it over.... U7's not here ....yet.
But I think at this point 1/2 elf is out.... can't wait to see Bubbas new 1/2 orc though.
  63. #66
So..... down to two name choices - Codexxx or Mamanatrix.
  64. #67
Either one is awesome. I can't believe either of those is available

    I call Vork then
  65. #68
I've already created them to secure the names.... tried Vork in about 8 different iterations and none of them were accepted.

Just tried 8 min before 11am not up, found that the Quatro drivers for my cards are now DX11 compliant - getting them now - why not... and can roll back if needed but am running GX9.0 dated 2009 Might as well make em recent... then will try logging again.

    Will post when up.

11:13 AM EST Up and downloading content now - yahhhhhhh
    DX11 update complete too.
  73. #76
Sweet! Early for once too 😀
  74. #77
Early just means the mistakes installed themselves well. ;-)
  75. #78
    A few observations.
Logging on and starting now once you get int o character body - lightning fast - may be due to few people on server now.. but going on or changing from one to another zip and go no 2 min re-sync.

Mal can only mail 9,999 plat not 999,999 any more, assume they missed that and will fix.

Half-Elves DO get the Human extra feat on creation..... and Dilettante feat....
*** EDIT - not Human but Half-Elf - I'm just stupid. so not bot... pisser - looks like Ethel is still Human..
  76. #79
The 9,999 limit on Plat has been around for a little while at least. Trying to fund Pogue from Sargenmnonk has meant multiple 9,999 plat transactions.

Downloaded the update and installed over lunch so I'm all set to go once I can get on tonight.

Humpf... OK so I'll put the crack pipe down.... the new Halfling sounds make me want to jump off Tempest Spine with out FF. There was a group of 10 or so Half Orcs in front of bank dancing.... I pulled out the tunes and provided music, almost at the some instant they all stopped and started clapping... very very funny.

Fells like I'm in Shrekville now.

I can't wait, still need a good name
  79. #82
Thought you had a good one picked?
Howlin' Ethel just came to me - it felt right for this go round.
  80. #83
    "Assless Chaps" is my vote!
  81. #84
    you mean "renamedA", Sarge?
  82. #85
Maybe I should name my toon "Renamed"

I had a couple ideas, somehow they are all gone but one.

  83. #86
I'm sure we could find a variation of Assless Chaps that would get by the censors 😀

    for a while anyhow...
  84. #87
    Butt-icly challenged Chaps
  85. #88
    Azzweepe!
  86. #89
Azzweepe is available. I just created and deleted a character with that name 😀

or maybe Ahzweepe would be less likely to catch attention.

    Crafted items out there.
While I could not find a full list, here are some of them with the minimum and maximum (but not epic level) craft of the items.

Check out the site for the mid level of the items.
    http://www.squidoo.com/endlessnight-ddo/12...1-Crafted-Items

    Cloak of Night
Cloak of Night iconThis cloak is as smooth and dark as the most pitch-black of nights. Wearing it makes difficult to spot and attack, and by awakening its powers you will enable it to aid you against creatures native to the darkness.

    Level 4

    Level 20

**EDIT** Notice that the level 20 cloak grants Ghostly - which is the same as the Spectral Gloves. Any weapon in your hands are turned to a Ghost Touch weapon. Also adds Deathblock Add Force Burst and DR5/good - This is a STELLAR cloak!

    Docent of Shadow
Docent iconThis docent is as dark as the night sky and almost seems to crack visibly with moving shadows. It boosts the power of its wearer's negative energy magic, and grants a measure of necromantic protection against enemy attacks.

*Level 8 only pic I found

    Robe of Shadow
Daydream in Robe of ShadowThis robe is as dark as the night sky and almost seems to crawl visibly with moving shadows. It boosts the power of its wearer's negative energy magic, and grants a measure of necromantic protection against enemy attacks.

    Level 4

    Level 20

    Wraps of Endless Light
These silken wraps blaze with an aura of light.

An extremely fantastic item any monk character might love to have. The Mabar gloves remind me of my time playing Diablo... killing monsters to get better gear to kill them again. This handwrap is meant to combat undead like the creatures assaulting Delera's Graveyard. It also gives decent damage bonuses monsters will be unable to resist.

Most importantly, the level 20 version is the first epic handwraps in DDO.

    Level 4

    Level 20

Note EPIC is not EPIC as in 20 EPIC runs through the quest, Just ONE EPIC token is needed to upgrade the wraps.

Also notice that these items are bound to ACCOUNT so our level 20's can farm and creat the items to the level you want and then hand them off to our other toons. + + + 1!!+1!

Mabar still down - not back up since we were tossed last night.... oi

** Log on window says people are losing he keys to get in to the raid when they exit the grave yard. They will "reimburse players" who los them... may mean DDO Store purchased keys - did not say one way or other.

I still have all my keys and other stuff we picked last night.

Also does not mention if will ever be back....
  89. #92
hmmmmp. Didn't even get a chance to turn anything in last night so I hope it comes back.

Why would you bother buying a key? I think we ran around for what 20 minutes before a key dropped for me. I can't imagine that most people are much different than that.
  90. #93
Checked my inventory and have 11...
  91. #94
Yeah in the beta they were much more rare, I was shocked at how quickly and how many I picked up.

    Sound issues.... NO JOKE!
I was in a very cool party today with Ian and did the Chronoscope raid and at the end of the raid, it makes this WHOOSHING sound, for then next two hours running around Gianthold all I kept hearing is WHOOSHWHOOSHWHOOOS over and over and over.

Told party I was taking head set off as I did not want to drop and re log..... pisser - on the up side he made level 11.
  94. #97
Yeah, I got it in a shroud run. I just turned down the sound effects to barely audible and that made it more tolerable.

So he dosent gttoo far a head Joe rolled a Paladin (lvl 2 now) named Ginantonic (Gin and tonic minus the D)

Monday I'll send him a guild invite, sounds like he is already meh on the Barbarian, and decoded to roll one of the two hardest classes in the game.... I'm helping him after the fact it's rolled, and may walk him through a custom build using this 28 point Pali build.

Have Joe up to level 3 - should be at least 4 by FNF this week....
Paging Atomm Paging Dr. Atomm........? ? ? ?

    Oh I am so pissed!
With Jun I created three cloaks lvl 8, lvl 12, lvl 16

    8: http://demonmage.com/images/CloakOfNight02.jpg
    12: http://demonmage.com/images/CloakOfNight03.jpg
    16: http://demonmage.com/images/CloakOfNight04.jpg

Had to run the raid 2x to get teh spectral dragon scales.... guess what?
THEY ARE BOUND TO CHARACTER!!!!!!! Not Account like the pictures in the link says! So the cloaks I was creating for Codexxx and Howlinethel are useless and all that material wasted.
(I feel like Bubba and the GS fiasco)

The event is done until Halloween - the raw material you get can be passed off in your bank - so I was able to farm with Jun then pass to Codexxx enough to create a level 4 cloak before the event closed.

I have plans for getting a level 8 and 12 at least for her and if I can 8, and 12 for Ethel also - then go for 16's for them if I can swing it, but there is a lvl 16 Bard cloak that Ethel will need so if I only run one then it's for Codexxx.

So just beware when it comes back, BOUND TO CHARACTER not account.

  99. #102
That sucks. On the flip side, the runes for the dragontouched armor now tell you what they are so you can wiki to see what they add to your armor. They are still bound to character, but can be traded in the chests. You can also now break a Sovereign rune into Tempest runes by putting it in the sovereign altar with I think a single dragon rune (or whatever the basic runes are called for that area) If you do that there is apparently also the chance that it will recreate a different sovereign rune for you instead of breaking it.

Stayed up after FNF and had to do one more Raid needed 3 scales had 2 thankfully there was a instance that had 1500 turn ns to go,... did it on Ethel not Jun more lowbies at that time.
Took 5x longer to kill but got scale and now have Ethels 8, 12 and 16 cloak too.

    I want to vomit.
  101. #104
Well Mr. Sarge E. Poo - did you get to complete what you were trying to make?

    * * EDIT * *
Well it's Nov 1 and the graveyard is still open and things still procing. - anyone have a few hundred spare motes of night kicking around?
May do another lowbie thing if available.
  102. #105
I have extra motes. I think I have around 1000 left and a crapload of vampire fangs too if you need those.

I didn't reach my goal. I ended up making a Level 4 and Level 8 cloak for Pogue. I also bought some wands with the many extra motes that I have.

I got on last night around 10:30 and went to farm and my draught of midnight was working really well and I scored around 500 motes in about 20+ minutes. Then it just stopped working. I logged out my Monk and logged in with Pogue and got nothing there as well. This was around 11:00 so I checked how long it would be until the raid opened, and something like 15,000 turn ins were still needed so bought what I could and went to bed.
  103. #106
Logged back on - back to normal - poo
