No where else to put this and it kind of fits here - Bubba and rand Sub with a party several times last night - from what he tells me the run before I got on he had an Icy that he practically could NOT give away but they finally rolled on it, thne the second run he and I made with the group I was the only person that wanted to roll for the icy that came up - so the guy that got it just tranfered over to me.... man 2 runs with Jun and I got one..... took Durrzo three weeks of steady grinding before I Plat bribed the one he has.....

So any way - brought my AC to 52 w00t

How'd you get his AC so high? I'm a couple of levels above you and mine is mid-40's tops.

I think I'm going to need to do an equipment shuffle again....

oops must have been running the Barkskin +4 pots (House J) w/o Bark +4 (which I carry 100 of) natural ac is 48 with Bark +4 AC = 52

Yeah, my Wisdom is 25 which might account for the difference. My Dex is slightly higher however at 27. I think my Dex item is a +5 but my Wis item is a +6. Could be the opposite however.

I'll need to find a +5 or better Protection item to replace the cloak once (or should that be "if"?) I get the GS item crafted.

Sarge do the +1 dodge bonus to your Icy Rainments.

Bind and Attune at Stone of change in front of bank 196 Kyber Dragonshard fragments then 15 Prayer Beads and 5 Vials of Pure Water will add a +1 Dodge bonus to your armor / AC

Just did my Icy on the Monk (Durrzo did a while ago) So it makes them +4, +1 Dodge +3 to all saves.

I am also going to look for Remlins Step which are boots (level 9) they have +20% striding and add Chaos guard to the boots.

And as the Dodge bonus is not the same they stack So you'd have a +1, +2 and +4 Dodge bonus.


Chattering ring adds a +3 which will stack also with the others but need to get on a drop from the Titan raid as it binds on acquire.

How do you add Chaosguard to items? Is it only those boots? Or is it that the boots have Chaosguard already?

Edit: nevermind. Figured it out.

I'll do the dodge bonus ritual tonight. I'd started to do that a while ago I think and then got distracted.

Just to follow up - I used the Chaosguard bracers pic to shoe what Chaosguard does - Remlins step are boots that have +20% Striding and the Chaosguard function on them as an attribute.

Clear as mud?


Note Bubba - you could also use the Remlins step boots if youdon;t mind losing 10% striding - it would add to your AC (or the bracers - if youdon;t have a favorite pair of bracers already)

Sarge - I forgot Dduck has Chaosguard bracers - so next time I'm on I'll play dress up with them and see what it does to my AC.....

OK I was off on the Remlins step - does not provide +2 Dodge bonus, but it still does provide +2 Deflection bonus to AC and all saves vs: Chaotic monsters - so you will not see your AC go up by 2 when you put them on but it will act as a 2 AC higher when you fight Chaotic monsters.


They normally go for quite a bit cheaper that the 400,000 plat in the AH like the pair there right now.

Will get them when I find them at a reasonable price.

Forgot to add tried Dducks Chaosguard bracers - hard to tell as they are +2 dodge, +2 AC vs: Chaotic and the jid bracers are +5 so net gain looked like a net loss if -3 as all I aws doing is standing in the bank.......

Still will give boots a spin when I find them.

I didn't make it on last night at all to do anything. Spent the evening processing peaches before they rotted away....
