    Starting to hear some interesting things in U8 leaking out.

    Armor dye

    More natural spell resistance for Drow (Now no longer x + added Enhancements) going to 10+level for SR so a level 20 Drow will have SR 30 Which will be retroactive for all Drow and any newly made Drow and now the highest natural SR for any race unmodified in game. (Go Durrzo!)

    Half-Elf Dilettante feats are getting expanded - as you can now put points in to the Dilettante side and boost it to a level 10 - what ever it is - so say youtook Cleric as a D feat - you can now raise that to a Cleric caster level 10 for scrolls and wand use - much better than the splash level 1 from U7

    Zen Archery feat will now apply to Monks and Ki weapons so a Grandmaster Wind with all the perks can add massive bonus to Long/Short bow damage from Wisdom (Will try this with Dducks bows in Juns hands when it comes out) - or even a 2 Monk / 18 Cleric can be a ranged warrior now....

    Also three more new quests with I think another new raid too.

    I know I'm forgetting a few things, but will keep looking under rocks for the info. (It's apparently out on Lamania test server for review - but I kind of like the newness of seeing live and not preview.)

    Cookie Jars - like Holding and Gem bags - finally something to hold the past and future festavault cookies.
    *Bbender has 2.75 tabs full of past cookies. Just could not let myself get rid of them.

    cookie jar = excellent idea.

    zen archery sounds interesting too. Throwing stars are generally less than useless as a ranged weapon.

    Definitely some interesting stuff there. Some stuff my L20 Monk might even find useful.

    I really couldn't care more than about 10 seconds what my character is wearing.... I mean this isn't Barbie's Dream house is it?

    That's EXACTLY what I thought when I saw all those options - Oh look Barbie S&M fantasy dream world dress up.

    Think of it as a way to avoid the embarrassment of showing up to a raid wearing the same outfit as someone else 😛

    Well, one thing that annoyed me was when I upgraded my armour to the next tier of the same "named" line and it looked exactly like the suit I had on previously. Maybe it annoyed me that I didn't like the way it looked in the first place.

    Sorry Atomm - the ONLY mounts we have in DDO at this time is Shadow Humping Bubbba.

    Today's "Update" was "maintenance only" - we all know they loaded U8 but so far nothing is turned on from U8

    When they said the Festivult stuff was starting then, I figured they'd drop U8 on us at the same time.

    Which one was festivult? I still have all sorts of coins, ice coins, tokens, etc from the other times they did special events.

    There BOTH coming back but the Gold Silver and Bronze are Festivul where you turn them in to the Jester (not Bubba - the GAME Jester) for Cakes and Cookies that produce level 10 caster effects even if your level 1 toon.

    Ice coins and motes are from the Risia ice games and they are turn ins for crating frost, ice and icy burst effects on your weapons.

    Well the I HATE YOU TURDBLIND threads are rampant on the forums - U8 is out - you have to pay TP to get the preview armor and they are releasing 1 armor change set every few weeks (on Turdblind employee posted ~ one every 3 to 4 weeks) so the quick calculation is 9 months + for all armor combination.

    Wait, you are upset you have to pay turbine points if you want to change your armor? Or you have to pay if you want to wear armor??

    Yah - dangle carrot - keep the lemmings attention longer.

    Created new Dwarf Ranger - Exploiter (18 Ranger 1 Rogue 1 Monk (or 1 Fighter either level is at level 13)) build as Joes 2nd toon has no one to run with - hoping to maximize damage Tempest III all Dwarf feats in Ax and get all the Arcane Archer feats fro free as he's a Ranger .... may be Dduck with Ax's
