im playing and i built the ugliest woman barb...damn ugly.
just getting used to the game now....il delete it when i build something worth while.

There is an unwritten rule of thumb - your first toon s pathetic, but helps you get to know the game.
Second one is not much better, third you have some good grasp of the game and know what you want to do and like about the classes.

I held true to that - my fourth, fifth and sixth all made it to level 20 (Max level)

So you likening the game? I'll be on later toady so check Vent we can run around.

I have to laugh, poor Sarge - right now he's our only healer and so far we have three barbarians in our new group (Bubba, Mike, Joe) and only one dedicated healer..... hahahahaa Sucks to be you Sarge..... Although my Paladin build is shooting for no-fail UMD skill (Use Magical Device) so I've already planned on backing him up with cure critical, Cure mass heals, Stone skin, Haste, Displacement, and anything else we may need by no-fail wand whipping us in to shape.

i can build any type....im thinking something that can help the group?

not sure what i named her, but should have named her "ass", cause thats what she looks like.

We've got it some where but the line up is something like this:

Sarge - Human Favored Soul (Healer)
Bubba - Half-Orc Barbarian
Duck - Elf Paladin
Atomm - War Forged Sorcerer
Kit - (race ?) Rogue (When available)
Joe - Dwarf Barbarian

I say play what you want but remember some of the classes are a real bitch to play first go round, too much clicking, too much watching other peoples health - situational awareness issues that can suck the fun out of the game if your expecting to be front line and truly pick a class that is mid / rear support class.

We can talk on vent about play and style and class... but if your liking the Barbarian.... cool, more DPS for us (Damage Per Second)

Ranger - I think it's my favorite class that I've played so far - there are two types of Rangers in the game.
Tempest - which are hands down the best two weapon fighters in the game giving up most of the ranged attack of a bow man
Arcane Archer - The class when you think Ranger - Bow man - My personal favorite - Not great at two weapon fighting (but that can be fixed) and stellar at long range combat.

The community thinks AA's they are underpowered but I've NEVER felt that mine was ever being out classed.

Just a thought as we don't have anyone that really can range an enemy in our party.
(I really thought I might reincarnate my Ranger to re=play him this go round, but decided to try a different class for something different to do - but would not think twice about rolling another AA)

A ranged attack would be a big help. I should have the capability (I think) but it won't be devastating.

All you barbs are going to need to invest some plat in pots. I'm also working the UMD as well and should have wands to help me.

sold, ranged attacker it is.....as soon as i get used to what all buttons do on HUD, ill create another ugly biotch.

wont be able to run with you guys for a bit, but ill get there.

Mike - Elf - Period - not Drow (not that you have access yet...) But Elf race has +'s to ranged attack and damage along with +'s to Scimitar use.

I'll help you out if need be (side help Sarge he'll be able to cast a few heals and use wands with out UMD)

As Oct 22 is out new start date we have a little while during the weeks to get you leveled - and when we star out the vets will be level 4 and the new people will be level 1 so there will be no EXP disparity (Level +3 levels higher or lower to keep max EXP earned) So even with some at level 1 and others t level 4 we're all still good.

The level 1's will level faster than the level 4's also so the gap will close fast.

Good god.. 2 more weeks and I'll have a day off. I'm thinking about going ahead and buying 32pt build, I have another group on another server that wants me to run with them a bit.. So that will mean less time running favor on agro. Either way I will be doing some catchup on vacation, and if I can get up to about your levels quickly I'll add in a secondary fvs to the mix.

Definitely elf for AA. Drow have the benefit of higher spell resistance, but items to boost that are pretty cheep. Plus you can take a dragonmark if you want, which you cannot as drow. I've been running the toxophilite build on ddosource, and I like it a lot but I haven't really researched other builds much.. but I'll still help out on your ranger if that's what you go for.

Hey Kit - welcome back even if you're the walking dead.... Have to look at Walt's build, but it sounds very muck like my Dduck build except he went with a Min II bow and I with Lit II -

Looks like I may changing Codexxx to something more flavorful.

ill be playing tomorrow night, but im still at lvl 1, so cant run with you guys....but ill be on vent, and probly asking questions.

No issues Mike I'm running with Joe so if nothing else the three of us can run around and act like fools.
