The three grey flags at the start of the map:
    F4 Beach
    D5 Beach
    E7 Bluff

Are capturable for the Americans but not the Germans.
Once the Americans capture the flags, the Germans CAN NOT re-take them.

Also there is a ticket problem. I have notice with a mix of flag owners, BOTH tickets drop at the same rate, from both sides at once....

THat is a map that was new with the 1.1 patch. Don't think that I have even played that one at all. I wonder if it just slipped past the quality control. We can take that map off of the rotation if we need to.

I'm trying to get to there forums, so I can get the LST and CFG so I can fix the problem. But there forums are down.
If they don't come back up soon, I'll try email to see if the will release them so we can get it fixed.

I tried registering to their forums like three times and have had no luck. I get a "registration has been disabled" message each time. Maybe I am looking in the wrong spot.

Thought of another thing on that map. I know they implemented some flags in Forgotten Hope that require more than one person to be in the radius to change it. Do you think that they could have implemented something like that on this map?

    Hard telling not knowing.
We can try it FNF to check.

    true, true.

That the one with the AWFUL ground textures?

There should be a sign on the flag with tick marks to tell how many people it takes to capture it.

I forget I'm gaming with the "A"-Team now.

Don't remember but I think FH uses marks on the pole or a flag stake.

Hehe, thanks Duck. I've been trying to think of a rank for you.

Sorry to hear about the registration problems with the BG42 forums. If you'd like, PM me and I'll make sure it gets to someone who can sort it out. :/

Omaha Day 1 still requires some tweaking and I'm working with the team to implement some much needed improvments. As with most mod releases, we get it to a point where we think its good to go (with our beta testers) and then watch what happens in online play. I think you'll like the improvements we've planned for the map 😀

No worries on the forum registration - I was able to get it to work a couple of days after I posted, but never updated the thread 🙂

Glad to here that the map is being worked on. It was fun to play except for the ticket issue imo. I also think you find most of us willing if you needed some additional beta testers 🙂

Strummer I have fixed all but the Southern beach flag.
Still trying to figure that one out....

Look forward to that one fixed.

He everyone!!! Did you know the barbed wire on that map is destroyable????
Did you know the American engineers have Bangalore torpedoes?

Strummer, let the powers that be know that the destroyable wire is a cool feature.
