Anybody playing Star Wars Battlefront??

When I first got this game, I was on the fence whether I really liked it or not. But lately, it has grown on me and now I think this game simply rocks!

I have yet to get it... I have heard good things and bad things. Still wondering if it is worth the price.

I bought it, but the one hour I spent playing it didn't do anything for me. I'll try it one more time. If it doesn't click, then I'm putting mine on ebay.

I felt the same way, Atomm... but as I got into more and more of the maps, its really starting to grow on me. The controls are definitely different than what I am used to in BF, but some are more of a nice feature than a hinderance.

I'm having alot of fun with the game now. I don't think one hour does justice to the amount of fun that you can have with this game, that's just my opinion.

Also, some are saying Galactic Conquest for BF is better than this, but sorry to say, there is no way in hell its better... GC is a very brave attempt at the SW theme, but again in my opinion, it doesn't come close to SWBF.

I'll give it another shot. I just wish it didn't feel so console like.

That's weird. A post concerning SW that Hiptawz hasn't obliterated with wasted hatred.

You still like the game grep? I've gotten into Forgotten Hope more than SWB. I'm considering putting mine on ebay.

Hey, sorry for the delay... hell ya man, its been great! I am having alot of fun with this game. Its a little different in terms of what we might be used to, but many of the maps are well-done and well, its Star Wars you know? Played the crap out of FH, but to me, it just seemed like BF42 with different maps, skins, vehicles, etc... kinda like the same thing as '42.

Put it on eBay? dam, that was quick.. sure you dont want to give it another shot or some time? I honestly wasn't too excited about SWBF at first, but as a few friends picked it up and we started to hit some servers together, it slowly grew on me...

Now I'm not a big Star Wars fan, but overall the game has been taking up my playing time. A new patch was just released for BFV, so I may check that out tonight and give it a good, hard look.. but one thing I gotta admit here, very limited issues and problems out of the box with SWBF. My biggest gripe is the ingame menues and server browsers... offa.. they need help, but once in the game, its a different ballgame. Lots of very cool vehicles and weapons and I'm sure with new patches and updates, there will be alot more to come.

BFV is still my No.1 game, but DICE dropped the ball in terms of support for this game and frankly, sooner or later a new game was going to come around to steer me away from BFV. Let's hope the new patch addresses many of the outstanding issues that have been plagueing this game for quite some time now and get me back into it like it did before SWBF. More and more players are dropping from BFV and to me, its really no surprise. Its a shame though because it definitely had so much potential.

Anyway... off to download the v1.2 patch and see whats it got...

Hmmm... This looked pretty good. I've really only been playing Warhammer 40k online lately. I think I played PoE mod for BFV last week but haven't touched BFV in almost 12 days now. Honestly, I'm kinda sick of it. When I pub I get vote kicked after like 5 mins cuz all I do is snipe and or/ booby trap everything I can find. Can't seem to get into BFV anymore. Maybe I should pick up SWBF.
