Anyone understand what's going on at TotalBF2?

    Been trying to figure out what happened over at TotalBF2. Depending on who you believe, a guy named Gamewizard either stole the user and post database or reclaimed his stolen property. MYInternetServices would have you believe that he stole it from them as "owners" and Gamewizard through his new forums at fevergaming.com would have you believe that it was his all along and that MYIS stole it from him.

    Lots of flaming and accusations of censorship, etc at the TotalBF2 boards and lots of long-time members with high post counts are saying they are done. I am not sure whom to believe but the whole thing is pretty hinky.

    btw, If you have a TotalBF2 account, it will work at fevergaming as well now.

    WOW this explaines it. I got an email the other day stating:

    "Dear paladin,

    Your account on Total Battlefield 2 Forums has been locked because someone has tried to log into the account with the wrong password more than 5 times. You will be able to attempt to log in again in another 15 minutes.

    I logged in under my act and it worked so I have no idea.

    I think I got one of those emails as well.

    I've said it before and I'll say it again, the crew at MyIS does not sit well with me. I'm not saying they did or did not do this, but I know I have not been happy with the way they deal with their customers.

    Strange stuff indeed.....

    yeah, I saw that "award" post. Not exactly the image that they are trying to project I think.

    On the other hand, I am not sure that I like suddelnly being registered somewhere that I didn't sign up.

    I've pretty much given up on those larger community boards because it is simply impossible to have an intelligent debate about something without it erupting in flames and idiocy. I view them now and again because they often seem to find out new info first somehow and to look for new recruits.

    I used to like that site.
    After reading a bit of that I don't think I'll go back.
