Battlefield 2142 may actually be very cool.

Link to a thread that mentions a video, about 20 min long that actually shows and explains the game in action. Wow, it looks actually good.

I think this game will be MUCH cooler than we think it will be. they explained a lot just watching that. I am only half way through the video and had to post about it. I will watch the other half later.

Some thing of note:

-When you knife a guy you get his dog tag and it shows up forever in your stats. So you can collect them, Oh man 😉

-The active camouflage only allows you to move around but not shoot while invisible. It may not be too bad, we will see.

-I really liked the game types they mention.

-You can customize your kits on the fly, that looks cool.

I think I am actually excited for this now 😉

I cannot blame the game for my problems last night, it was me running the old .exe file. I was trying a tip on the boards to have the game process named something other than bf2.exe so the performance was better etc... bla bla bla, I think it makes no difference 😉

So to be fair it ran fine and so far I have not had problems with any patches or mods as yet and have yet to have to re-install.

As for the game play, it is what it is. Just saying... 😉

Hey, I think I am going to just convert that now for urban use. So from now on "it is what it is" will now be simply "is".
