This .rar file is the Battlecraft LST + CFG files for 1.1 (Made by me 😉 )

Put the lst and CFG files in your main BC directory, and then open up the .cfg file and edit the gamepath line to suit your computer (point it to your BF1942 directory)

Anyways, here is the link (7kb):

    BC Files

    Have fun 😀

Note: You'll have to add the Rifleman class manually to the init.con via Winrfa or something similar. You can copy the class lines out of other BG maps and then past it into yours.

Hey Raze, does this temp you at all to do a BG42 version of Ghost Front? Maybe with the revisions talked about for the BFV: WWII mod?

now is that "a little" as in "I can't wait to get home to get started on this", or "a little" as in "given the proper alignment of the planets and stars, I'd think about it"?

    just curious 🙂

TY all, if you find any bugs or anything of that sort post them here or PM me or something. I'll fix it for another version.

I'll give a link for the Loading Screen templates currently being used when I can get them hosted.

    EDIT- here is the link:

given the proper alignment of the planets and stars, that allows me to have time. :-)

    SWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. #15
    Yes sir!

Not quite finished, wanted to do a few more things, and then I'll let you guys have some fun. I was unable to import over the big building fires, but I have a plan there, I was able to bring over the snow. Just a little different in 42 but it still has the desired effect.. If you look close you can see it in the crater shot.

    Lookin'' good!
  17. #17
Oh My! That is awesome! I can't wait to play this.

We need to invite the BG42 Dev's to check it out with us. Sarge, do you think the Cat guys would help play test it?

Raze, when can we get our hands on the first version? Is this BG42 specific or is it from Vanilla BF?
  18. #18
I'm guessing I could get a few as long as it isn't a friday night.
  19. #19
Just the vehicles are BG specific. I can make it vanilla by using only shermans and panzers like the original. that is no biggie. I just thought I'd spice it a bit since it was there.
  20. #20
Decided to go vanilla after thinking about it. greater porability between mods.
  21. #21
Very Cool! We need to playtest this map! If we hurry, we can use it on our BF42 Custom Map Night Blowout!
  22. #22
I'm confused, is it a BG42 map? or a BF42 map now? Or is it just that the vehicles are from Vanilla 42?
  23. #23
It's a vanilla BF42 map. In a funny twist, it is actually the BFV version of Ghost Front Raze was working on for the release of the WWII Extended mod. Not an official map, but something to put out after the release. He back ported it to BF42 and it worked out real well from what he was saying.

If he gets it down in BF42, he can import it to BFV after the WWII mod is released and it should work there equally as well.
  24. #24
Ok. I was hoping for BG tanks though - but that is just me being greedy 🙂

Let me know when you want to play test and I will see if I can't herd up some [CAT]s
  25. #25
Actually it is a BG42 map... :-p I have modularized the tank setups for quick changeouts to make it work in vanilla BF. Only problem about going to Vanilla BF is I loose all the "VERY COOL" textures. I think it best played in BG42.
  26. #26
suhweeet! Ok, when can we playtest it?
  27. #27
OK, I slipped amd put the BG items back in. Here is the tank lists:

    1-Panzer IV H / 1-Sherman
    2-Panzer III J Special / 1-M18 Hellcat
    1-Tiger / 1-M10

    Let me explain better.

    Start of map:
    Axis: 1 P4 / 2-P3
    Allied: 1 Sher / 1 M18 / 1 M10

The allied configuration is tjhe max they can get. Axis, If they take the Farm can Gain a Tiger. US Base will not spawn German tanks. There will never be more than 6 tanks at one time.

I should have a copy to atomm tomorrow.

This sounds really cool. If you want to maintain historical accuracy, you may want to replace the Panzer III's with Panthers, or do one Panther and 2 Panzer IV's. By 1944 there weren't a lot of Panzer III's around and the German attack in the Ardennes was almost equally split between Panthers, Panzer IV's, and Tigers.

Had to do a bit of digging on that one, but found the info here: http://www.ehistory.com/wwii/books/bulge2/0260.cfm
  29. #29
I'm with Sarge. Let's try to make it balanced, but accurate.
  30. #30
Panzer V's it is. 2 of them is OK, they appear the same power as a sherman. Both the Sherman M4 and the M18 replaced with Sherman M4A3 "Easy Eights" for accuracy.
  31. #31
WooHoo! Bring me the new version and I'll get it posted.
  32. #32
I could almost upload it. It's small enough for even me to transfer. :-)
I just need to find the old ftp info.
  33. #33
sweet. Lets set up a test-time.
  34. #34
I'll have to sneaker it to Atomm. I can't get logged onto the FTP.

After messing around with the P5 and the M4A3. I think they make the perfect alternative. Those are some "VERY" slow tanks. Puts the emphasis back to ground pounding like the original! Atomm will appreciate that VERY much. Also, I seems to have lost my roadtracks and such somewhere down the line. I'll get them put back in.

    Ground Pounding All The Way!!!!!!
