BF2 1.03 tags

    As you know you can add tags to a name with the 1.03 patch.
    Well I was screwing off and added GRB to an unused account, and now GRB is on all my accounts.

    I have tried going back to that account, it does not show the GRB I have tried backspacing anf hitting enter to clear it out, no dice.

    Anyone know how to remove the GRB from all the names?

    huh. no idea. Have never added anything in my prefix and now it looks as though I won't. Let us know if you find a way to get rid of it.

    Never mind.
    Figured it out my damn self.

    Look here in the default install path:
    C:Documents and SettingsYOUR-PC-NAMEMy DocumentsBattlefield 2Profiles

    For this file:
    Global.con

    Make sure the line is as follows:
    GlobalSettings.setNamePrefix ""

    The pre-fix goes away.

    A pre-fix goes between the ""
    Example: GlobalSettings.setNamePrefix "GRB"

    Now blank (thankfully) once again.
