    They definately look amazing. I'm just wondering what sort of hardware it's going to take to reproduce that look.

    1.5 Ghz CPU
    512 Megabytes of RAM
    128 MB video card (must support 1.4 shaders)

    Apart from the above information, all that's known is that the system requirements for Battlefield 2 are slightly higher than they were for Battlefield: Vietnam. The specs listed below are those for Battlefield: Vietnam, but will be updated to the correct ones for Battlefield 2 when that information becomes available.

    933 Mhz CPU
    Directx 9.0b
    3D accelerated GeForce3 64 MB or equivalent DirectX9 compatible video card
    256 Megabytes of RAM
    2 GB free hard drive space

    Yeah. I actually meet the specs for "optimum performance" for BFV, but there is no way that I can run it with everything on high and get anything like optimal performance, if you know what I mean.

    GeForce4? You gotta be kidding me. There is no way that game is optimized for a GeForce4. BFV looks so much better on any card, but mine....

    I just hope I can scrape together enough moola for my B-Day to get a 6600 AGP. :-)

    I am with Raze. These screenshots completely changed my whole perception of BF2. I really don't care for desert maps, but now I can see jungle, I am excited.....

    That is amazing. Watch the second video. It is unbelievable.

    OK, I hope this game is as balanced as they say because it looks incredible.

    What does everyone think of the screenshots on the front page? I can't wait to play jungle maps on this engine.
