A bunch of stuff I've collected and saved in a (fairly) short textfile. Covers several classes, some vehicles, bombing instructions, etc. Not comprehensive, but there's something in there for almost everyone.
I was gonna put this in Battalion Talk, but couldn't add an attachment. It's better-suited to this forum anyway, as long as we don't ladder and post our strats for all to see.
:rotfl:
Sorry about formatting, It WAS in txt format, and fine, but I can't UL a txt file, so changed it to doc.
Apparently you can take someones kit and leave them kit-less by standing as far away as you can and grabbing their kit. Instead of dropping yours on them, it drops it near them makeing them a "scarecrow" if you revive them. I think then you could go pick up your kit and drop the medic kit for them to pick up.
I've been trying to think about what makes up the perfect squad and haven't really figured it out yet. I think it will be different for each map for sure. In some cases, two separate but smaller squads may even work better than one larger one.
I have a ton of ideas on this. The perfect squad. I won't go into a lot right now but I will give you a few fast examples.
AT squad: 3 or 4 guys preferred. At certain times when you have flags that are getting armored to death a very good squad is two AT guys, like DocJon and I. I do feel this is my best kit. I am not bad with those rockets and Doc is really good. We both have taken out snipers from really far away with just the AT rockets. I got curved shots down fairly well so even when tanks backup to get out of the way, even behind buildings, I can usually still tag them.
If we had a squad with a medic to stay alive from APC and tank fire, and alternately support for ammo we can do a hell of a lot! A supply creates can stand in for the support if needed. A medic is better than a create as they can revive you from tank fire. If the medic dies, grab there kit, revive them and swap kits back.
We have had good times with a supply create with unlimited rockets and health, and were really effective. Doc and I have had really good games with us on a far hill, away from the main action but still doing a lot of severe damage to infantry teams and teams of tanks and APC's I remember games where we were on a tower with ATâs and just taking out tons of sht even better than snipers. We took out tons of guys and tanks it was a blast until the copter finally took us out. 😉 . ============================================== Spec ops: 3 guys preferred. If needed for hard rounds also include an AT guy. This is something we hardly do but need to do more. Have a good Spec ops team. Again one Spec Op, one medic, one Support for ammo. Again a good supply create can stand in for ammo if needed. This is simply just to keep that damn artillery down. If the medic dies, grab there kit, revive them and swap kits back. Just keep taking this down. Take the other resources as well. This would be needed the entire game. If they are really defending it an AT guys can take out tanks and APC;s that roll in to take them out.
I have more ideas but will type later when I have more time or you guys can add to it.
Yea I beleive Sarge and I both prefer SF, and Atomm is a medic through and through. I am also quite good with the medic kit. Now we need two good support people.
This would be the setup for infantry fighting on any map. As there are no maps without significant armor presence it is best to be prepared to take them on. Imo, the spec ops class is equal to the assault in many ways so if there is no need for the C4, then you could replace the spec ops with assaulters (when do you not need c4? hehehe)
6 man squad working independently SL - Support 1 medic 2 AT 2 Spec Ops (or 1 Assault and 1 Spec Ops)
2 Four Man squads working as one unit each squad has 1 AT 1 Spec Ops 1 Assault SL for one team is support, sl for other team is medic
If you are going to be using armor consistently, replace an AT or spec ops guy with an engineer.

hmm. just realized how little I play Medic around Bubba. Or for that matter how how litt;e time I and Bubba play as squad. Usually he take a tank or something and I'm flying solo. curse me for playing wierd times.
If they'd have left the PKM whoring options in the game I might have made a good Supply man.
Oh well. I ain't giving up the medic. I'm just too darn good with that kit.
I play spc ops most of the time, but I started as a medic, and found you and Atomm playing it too. I am a good person to be a medic around, I am always dead.
Actually Bubba, Spec Ops is my class Du Jour. In BFHQ, it even says that I am a Spec Ops. I love my G36 as Spec Ops.
As for medic, I've said this before. If I am non-US, I will take a medic over anything else because the AK47 is a great gun. It's like being an Assualt with Healing. If I am US, it's Spec Ops and medic if needed.
As for your squads, I really think you guys are discounting the benefits of a straight up Assualt player. They get the most accurate weapons with the best power and really good armour. If I am getting pounded by Infantry, I will take Assualt because it's easier to kill the other team.
