BF2 Veteran Command Badge in an evening.

Found an easy ass NON-CHEAT way to get your 1,000 points in a sitting.

Choose a 64 player map, the open maps are easier because you tend to live longer, city maps you die and re-spawn too quick.

Find a flag that is being contended, call arty on the enemy and drop a supply crate right after the arty call.

Drop the crate just far enough in the open so they have to move to get resupply, and the arty wipes em' out. By the dozens some times.
Nothing is more gratifying than seeing your name [artillery] 14 times in a row..... MUHAHAHAHA die children die!!!!!!

I received my veteran commander badge in 3 hours.

That's pretty devious. I like it and am going to try and remember it for the next time I am commander.

One of the aspects of BF2 that I don't care for is that with all of the commander tools, he (or she I guess) is the only one that gets to do sneaky stuff. If there is a commander on the other team, there is no such thing as a surprise attack. Games where there is no commander are often more fun for that reason.

I agree, I liked the "surprise" factor.
