BF2 Weapon unlocks

It's no secret I detest this game.
But I'm waffling over which unlock for my first.

I like the Anti-Armor kit and the Med kit.

The Med L85A1 32 points of dammage per round, only 2 points more damage than the standard M16.
(each player has 100 points total before death)

The Anti-Armor DOA 12 Shotgun does 12x8 (total 96 for a full hit) over the MP5 at 19 points per hit.

What did you unlock?
Do you like it?
Is this all hype crap like the rest of the game?

I like playing Spec Ops the best. However, I really wanted to play a Medic as needed. I hate the gun the medic gets.

Based on that, I picked the Medic Unlock to get a better gun. Now, I play Spec Ops and Medic most of the time. I wasn't concerned about damage, but I was concerned about my ability to use the weapon effectively. The 3 shot crap sucks.

Based on this, my second unlock will probably be assault, so I can start playing it more. Once again, it's not about damage as much as it's about my ability to effectively use the weapon.

Hey good point. Is the medic kit full auto on the unlock, cuz that 3 shot burst sucks.

I unlocked the engi shotgun "The Jackhammer" and it is a huge improvement over the default engi shotty. I can actually hold my own in a close in firefight with the thing. If I ever make it to a second unlock I think I will either get the G3.

On the otherhand, people that I have talked to that unlocked the PKM really love the gun and can dish out some serious damage. I never play support class, but maybe then would be the time to start.

Yup the G3 and the PKM are ruthless.
I answered my own :?: the Med kit upgrade is Full auto and single shot.

I took it, the single shot mode I was able to kill 4 snipers today.... it's very accurate at longer ranges and it's scoped.

Yeah I took the medic too, you play almost as good as a base assult and you can heal people. It is also effective at long range.

I took the G3 and am pretty happy with it. I'm a run and gun type of player and it usually dominates at close ranges. Its pretty accurate at long distances but the iron sights have alot to be desired. I've played w/ the medic upgrade very sparingly and didn't like it when I tried to use it with any kind of distance but like I said, I haven't used it alot. I'm probably going for the special forces gun next, only 2000 pts away but with the limited play time I've had lately due to psuedo marrital constraints, it might be awhile.

I'm going to try to approach this FNF differently. I'm going to play like I want to have fun, and not care what happens. May make the game better if I just don't care about it.

I picked the assualt unlock. It's the kit I usually play. I still prefer the m16 though because of the grenade lancher. I like the burst on the med kit. I can't frickin believe I have to wait till 10,000 for the next unlock. Probably be a long time before that happens as long as the mods start rolling out!

I try to stay with my squad but I usually end up doing what works for me. FYI, Carefull following Atomm, he'll stay in one spot and get arty'd 6 times in a row just cuz the Commander told him too 😛

Yah I saw that last Friday.
Thing is I stayed out side the splash area and was a medic, I had a killer score at the end of the night just keeping his sorry ass alive.

I do my best when there is a clear cut squad leader to follow and the squad plays balanced kits.

Speaking of FNF, if we get at least6 on, how about breaking up into smaller squads of three and coordinating attachs on two flags at once?

Oh and I like playing D and holding a flag. With all the running and gunning going on, it can actually be one of the most important jobs on a map.

Sarge, Bubba and I held a single flag the match one time and it was the most intense fights. In the end, we were the only flag left.

PS- check out the new server manager, if you thought the last one was restricted wait till you see this one.

From what I'm hearing in the community the PKM support unlock is one one of the better secondary unlocks if your not a Support Class player normally.. I think it will be my 3rd unlock..
