BF42 FNF - Custom Map Night?

    I was wondering, if we held another BF42 Friday Night Fights - Custom Map Night, would anyone here be interested? There has been quite a few custom maps put out for BF42 lately and I thought it would be fun to play them.

    We might throw in two of best maps as well, Fields of the Fallen and Ghost Front.

    Just seeing what the interest level is like.....

    I think it would be great, one concern tho. We seem to have attracted a few regulars to the BFV map nights and have a lot of interest there. Would switching to a BF42 night kind of derail this some? I don't know at all, just a thought tho.

    I would think we would need to split the month in two... So... We have BF1942 in the middle of the month, and BFV at the end of the month.

    I would be excited about it. I think I still prefer 1942, although I am slowly converting.

    I would be up for custom '42 maps again. I played the game for the first time in months earlier this week. Got my buttt kicked by just about everyone. Hard time switching back after playing BFV so much. I think a good number of players play both '42 and Vietnam, so going back to '42 won't be a big deal. We could always do it on a different night if it is thought to be a problem.

    I don't want to stop doing the Friday Night Fights - Custom Map Night at the end of the month. BFV seems to be doing better than 42 did, which is really strange considering 2/3rd less people play BFV. I was just thinking of planning one for BF42 the middle of next month. It wouldn't be a every month thing, but depending on the turnout, we might be able to leave the server running the maps for a few weeks. Either way, it would be a good way to let people know our BF42 server is back up and running once we get the new server online.

    As for wanting something different, I played BF Pirates the other night. It's kind of fun. You might want to download the current version, or wait for the new one coming out at the end of the month. It would be cool to have a bunch of us on the BFPirates server.

    BF1942 FNF CM would be cool. I agree with the concern about those who may drop by for BFV FNF CM and may not realize we're in the 1942 server.

    Sounds great to me. I was actually playin some Liberation of Caen the other day. That alone made me want to have another 42 night. As for switching it up, just advertise it right so everyone knows whats up, and I dont think it'll be a problem. :twisted:

    Dam it Jim, i'm giving her all she got!

    I just can't seem to get hooked up with you guys 4 a fnf in bfv, and i don't own 42'. Thats what i get for being in a band.

    One of these days I'll get to play these kustom maps!

    Heh... No worries, I am sure we will keep the BFV night the same and have an extra night for BF1942 🙂
