LoU, I read another guy who has a MX400 stated the new maps ran good, except for the fact that his video card had to clear the buffers every so often. Could that be your problem?
I wasn't running the new maps too great either, but I still have a GeForce4.
I installed the patch and the game wont even load properly. I reinstalled and now it crashes to desktop.
I never had the CTD problems that many were having with the earlier patches so this is kinda frustrating. I'm clearing the registry and reinstalling again. I am really pretty much fed up with BFV. I have never had this kind of trouble running any other game that I have ever owned.
By default this setting is set to 0, however it is strongly recommended that you set it to 1 so that your refresh rate can exceed 60Hz in Battlefield Vietnam. In fact if you have a refresh rate fix installed, or are using a refresh rate override on your system, BF:V will not load up - usually giving an error, crashing to desktop or stopping at a black screen - if this setting is not set to 1. There is no reason this should be left set at 0.
Why wouldnt they set 1 as default? Also why wouldnt they make most of everything in that link default??
Reinstalled, used full patch. I've tried everything in the tweak guide so far and have used 2 different ATI drivers...
Going to clear my drivers next and start fresh from there. I am not going to format again just to get this game running. At least until I burn off a bunch of crap to DVD.
