Call to Arms: BG42 for BF:V Trailer Filming Night May 3rd!

Hi all -

Thought I'd drop by and mention that the BG42 team is looking for some fine actors for a promotional movie. Since the BG42:V release is just around the corner, we've got a tight deadline for this and GexMax from BF-news.de has volunteered to do all the production work.

We just need to get some players on a server ASAP. I've scheduled Tuesdsay May 3rd as the day for this and have posted over at the BG42 beta forums. Hopefully Atomm can ensure the |GRB| BG42 beta server is good-to-go for this event; if not, we'll do it at the -=NC=- Beta server.

Anyway, since GexMax is in Europe and 6hrs ahead of East Coast Time, we thought we'd try to get it rolling at 6pm and try to wind up by 9pm. Check out the thread at the BG42 beta forum for the lastest info.

(I'll subscribe to this thread and try to answer any questions that come up.)

I can be there but it would be about 8:30pm PST. That's the earliest, so hopefully your talking PST but I doubt it. Been on the -=NC=- sever a few times this week, but no one else has been around!

Alas, but the time are East Coast time, making it really rough for Pacific Coast players. The reason for the selected times is that the effort is being coordinated a by a European player and they are 6 hours ahead of EST!

If you can make it great, but thanks for offering and checking your schedule if you can't...its certainly understandable!

Concerning the low amount of beta players on the beta servers: real life has impinged on my time of late, so I'm playing less BF, though I expect to get back in my normal swing in a few months. Caveloth, who is a regular player, is off the Internet for a few weeks and the rest of the BG42 team is hard at work to reach a release date for BG42:V. Keep checking in, though, many of us keep ASE open and will "take a break" and jump into a populated server 😉

UPDATE: We've decided to cancel this admittedly last-minute rush for a trailer for BG42 for BF:V. A big reason is the news posted over at the Battlegroup42 website concerning a BG42:V release this Friday!

Thanks, everyone, for responding and being willing to help. I fully expect that we will execute a trailer at some point in the near future. I hope that I'll be able to have another "call to arms" and, with a more planned event, see excellent representation from |GRB| in the trailer 😉
