Company Of Heroes

I just played through the Company of Heroes RTS demo and it was a lot of fun. If you are looking for a cool WWII fix, it's not so bad. Just make sure you go through the Tutorial. Not everything is intuitive.

The first round was Omaha Beach. It has cut scenes built into the round and it really reminds me of what it felt like in BF42 attacking Omaha. It was intense.

The second round was the siege on Caretan. The US had to hold it from the German onslaught. Again, it was intense.

I played both on Regular and won both rounds. I didn't get all the hidden objectives, but it was still a lot of fun.

I've heard good things about the game, maybe I'll try and grab the demo for all of my spare time 🙄

It took me a couple of hours to go through it.

One thing I liked about it is you don't manage every single character like other RTS games. In this, you manage squads and they do some things to take care of themselves like using cover, covering your sides, etc.

if anyones still interested in company of heroes , i own it , if uve ever played battle for middle earth i think the gameplay resembles that in my opinion and the multiplayer is very hard , 1v1 2v2 3v3 and 4v4 matches keep everyone busy along with a ranking system. the expansion coming out will feature the russians and the british. if anyone gets it feel free to pm me or add me to your xfire to set something up, its a great game if u like RTS and garunteed to be a different experience

I don't think I will buy it any time soon, but it was fun for a change.
