    Well here is your thread....


    Anywho... this demo is good try it, it's worth it... they only things holding me from buying this, money and the fact it's by EA.

    Any multiplayer info? I loved Farcray, but the multiplayer tanked bigger than Dallas. I get the feeling Crysis took the same Single Player game, oh yea, let's add multiplayer while we are at it, attitude.

    I'm gonna assume that also, until persuaded otherwise. Far Cry looked awesome, and was a fun single-player game. . . but the multiplayer . . .meh. Crysis looks like a worthy successor from the screen shots, but I'm not expecting more than death match in multi-player, and unless your name starts with an "L" and ends in "exx" 😛 , folks around here are asking for more from their games.

    Demo is MP only and is good, it's very BF2 like. it is not dx10 limited, though dx10 supposivly gets better graphics.

    Just f'n DL it and try, trust me it's worth at least a try

    We were the closed Alpha and closed Beta before the public release. Check your video card specs and update your cards drivers.

    Minimum PC spec DOES NOT cut it for Crysis. I'm slightly over minimum and had a very hard time running and testing if there were more than 3 - 5 people on a test server.

    And then if it was all in vehicles, the skinning would be lost and you'd see black and yellow place holders. If I stopped moving they would sooner or later skin but it also made me a stationary target.

    If interested I can grab some screen shots with and with out skins, but this week or next the closed servers are being shut down.

    Yeah i had skin issues but one of the newer driver updates fixed that for me.

    I've been playing this way for a while. I have quite a few red pixels and now some green pixels on my monitor. I had it checked at BB and it's fine.

    I'm seeing all sorts of glitches and artifacts.

    I think it's part of the reason games have been playing so crappy.

    I'm trying to hold out for the 8800 GT to drop down to regular list price 200-250. It just came out and if you can even find one, it's $270-$320.

    I may break down and buy a EVGA 8600 GTS and use their 90 day upgrade once the prices drop on the 8800 GT.
