Custom Map Server

I was searching through Gamespy arcade for some servers with custom maps for BFV, I found gamersradio.com-custom maps, I have almost all the custom maps from planetbattlefield but much to my shigrin I only see custom maps made by Gamers Radio Battalieon (GRB), so I came here hoping to download them but the downloads section for BFV is empty, anyway I was wondering where I could download these GRB maps, I really enjoy custom maps and it's a shame you don't see more servers supporting them.

We were actually just testing the first round of BFV maps when you posted. I'll let one of the authors give some details.

We are big supporters of custom maps as well, and usually have custom map nights on the last friday of the month. In May this will be on the 28th. Likely we will do a combination of GRB maps and other custom maps, but this is usually decided about a week before the custom map night.

Like Breaky said, the maps we had running last night we were testing for our mappers to try and identify any problems or give them ideas for improvement. Occassionally we will load some custom maps on the spur of the moment for testing or just to check out a map that looks particularly interesting. If you keep on these boards, we usually post here if something is happening.

I think everyone covered the majority of the info. Our next Friday Night Fights - Custom Map Night will be May 28th. We will play nothing but custom maps, so mark your calendar now!

We will post more info about a week before the event. Additionally, all maps included will receive an initial review from our staff. After we play them, we will give another review of the map based on actual play experience and include it in our Map Review Section.

Evil Homer from PlanetBattlefield.com has been very supportive of this event and usually carries info on his news page the day of the event.

Anyway, if you are interested in Custom Maps for BFV, this is the place to be. Drop by and chat with us. The more we get to know you, the better chance you have of being invited to our private testing. :-)
