    Seems as if THQ used a company that measures your emotional response to things to test Frontlines and it resulted in a pretty significant shift in the game last year.

    CNET wrote:"The tests helped us position the game--it was originally a cooperative-play, squad-style military game, and now it's more of an open world, multiplayer game," Aniello said.

    Coop < Multiplayer FTW!!!!!!!!!

    That is pretty cool....

    I'd hate to see one of those on this group. It would short circuit....

    ???

    I thought Coop meant "cooperative", like in teamwork. How is that bad?

    I think that they meant that it moved from being more like Ghost Recon (small teams and tactical in nature) to being more like Battlefield (big teams and more chaotic and free flowing).

    I think that's a good shift. One of the great things about the BF series is that maps each round of a map plays out differently than the last time you did it. Even after 16 million rounds of Karkand, there are still events that surprise me.

    CoOp = Teh G4Y!

    I know you guys are into it, but I hate playing a multiplayer game in coop mode. I want real opponents.

    I do however enjoy playing single player games with a buddy in a coop fashion....

    CoOP vs CoOP = QuakeWars

    Both sides must work on objectives to get to the next objective to, in the end, win the game...

    [Just saying this to say it... nothing more...]

    CoOp is great with the right crowd. ie my father and brother... ppl not really quick enough for team deathmatch. I hang back and let them get some kills. We played the heck out of Hidden and Dangerous and Rainbow Six. There really hasn't been a good CoOp in a long time. Although HAZE is coming.
