Figured out at least some of my lag issue with BF2SF

For me anyhow.

I never checked my video settings after installing and they defaulted to a level that is much higher than I normally run for the most part. I changed the settings to my usual for BF2 and 95% of my lag went away. I have only tested on a round of Iron Gator, but that was my laggiest map in SF before I changed the settings.

Check you settings and see if that helps.

Also, don't forget to get into your "My Documents", where a "BF2" folder resides, find your "logo cache" and empty once a week or so, it fills up quick if you play every day or close to it.

Also, Also, always "Manually Update Your Punkbuster", go to the punkbuster website and download there program so you can update yourself, dont trust EA or anyone else to do it for you.

btw, me and {pdX}Tman and the bunch really miss the old 42 Custom Map [Friday Night Fights] nights, man those were fun.

Yeah, I'd like to do Custom 42 map night as well... I'd jump in and make some new maps for 42 if we would start up again.
