Oh man, my woman got me a wii today, just cause I'm that good. I've been on the thing all day, and I gotta say despite my previous misgivings I enjoy it alot. It brings back the idea of gaming as a social thing. Man I missed that.
Friends don't let friends Wii drunk

lol!
I'm really interested in a Wii as well because it seems like something my kids could use and it would keep them away from my PC 😀 -

You mean, as a group gathered around the machine? -
#4 Absolutly as a group gathered around the machine. One of the coolest things about nintendo has always been the party type games. Something I think xbox sort of dropped the ball on, and ps3 definatly did. -
#5 Yea, I had to search hard to find games that a group could play. On my PS2, it was Gauntlet: Dark Legacy. We had a blast playing 4 player on that.
It's funny. XBox and Playstation focus on cool new graphics and how powerful they are, then good ole Nintendo does the smartest thing possible, they innovate and change the rules. I love it! -
#6 Some of my favorite games ever are the Mario Kart racing games on the 64 and the game cube. Hook up all 4 controllers and have a blast running over your friends!! I also loved the goldeneye and perfect dark games for that reason too. Proximity mines on goldeneye was the BEST!!!! And actually we the complex map on the CS server... it's just not the same without the mines... *sigh*
I almost bought a Wii the other day, becuz I love Zelda games. But they came out with a gamecube version of Twilight Princess, so I just got that instead. 😀
