Didn't search thru the whole thing, but found one that's supposed to remove recoil. . .I guess it walks your cursor down as the game walks it up.

More interesting scripts seem to be nearer the end than the beginning. Thanx to Paladin for the link.


OK, I dug further - Found an interesting one:
"Here's a little script I use while sniping. When you press CTRL+LEFT MOUSE BUTTON it will shoot, switch to your pistol, zoom in, and then while you hold down the left mouse button it will shoot the pistol and correct for deviation while doing so. "

people get confused over what PunkBuster can and can not do. It can detect processes running. If it identifies one on it's list and the size matches, then it takes action. If I rename my AutoHotkey process to say... excel.exe and change the size a bit... well PunkBuster has no idea.

PunkBuster can also examine the entire EA Games / Battlefield 2 folder. If it finds altered files or stuff that is on it's "hitlist" in there it can bust ya too.
What PunkBuster can NOT do is scan outside EA Games / Battlefield 2 folder. If they did, they would be in a world of shit. The EULA authorizes them to check the specific game folder and NOTHING else.

Amazing TV missile strikes? Just a macro away:

But don't worry guys, the ranked part of battlefield 2 didn't ruin the game, it just killed the custom and mod community, brought more people to cheating, got rid of teamplay, made it so unless you buy a more expensive "EA Approved" server that doesn't work for shit you won't get a single pubber....

I think if we can keep our server we should just kick people that we see shooting while in the air period. I tried many ways to do it and there is no way to do that legit. If you are off the ground you should not be firing.

Those assholes where constantly hopping around and this explains it. If you read that site, its not just the g15 keyboards, but they can assign macros to any keyboard, mouse, or joystick with that automacroer.

I'm seriously even wondering why I'm wasting time playing this game anymore. Its like playing cards at vega. This crap is ruining the game, and no doubt this is going to happen to UT and we already know its happened to WoW.

I know Atomm was cautioning restraint last nite, but it was getting to be pointless. I already suspect this in 2142 as previously discussed where these clans are beating the hell out of you 250:1 . I'd rather watch TV than lose anymore to gotdamn cheaters.

Sad part is Lexx, it is already used in UT, has been for awhile now. I guess you have been lucky not seeing it on pubs. UT can be just as bad with macros to jump, bounce off a wall and shoot you all at once.

I have been reading that these programs are used with almost every game out there. Since it runs outside the games usually, they can adopt them to just about anything.

You may be right, but I haven't yet seen any discussion of this in UT forums I check each day. I tried a macro to do as you describe, jump, wall dodge, turn 180 and fire, didn't work for me 🙂 Of course, I just used the g15's built in function. That automacroer is going beyond the pale with the exploites imho.

I'm going to crosspost some of this info on those forums and see what kind of feedback I get though.

Actually Lexx, if you remember, I was not saying restraint. I was saying what they were doing could be done with a G15 macro. I didn't know anything about this other macro program. Now, is it cheating? I dunno, but I know we don't like it and we pay for the server.

As for the TV missle, thinking back last night to the kills they were getting on Sharqui with the TV, I would say without a doubt they were cheating. At one point, I was sideways, 3rd person view and I could see them clear as day. I waited until they fired, then hit full reverse. I watched the rocket come in the whole way. It not only had a beautiful smooth arc, it hit exactly where I was previous to driving backwards.

Will one of you add a line to our server message that states anyone suspected of using Macro's to improve their game ability will be banned, no questions asked.

That will count as a warning. All I ask is please pay attention to the difference between macroing/cheating and really good players.

Yeah, I have already kicked a couple people from the server for that sort of crap. We had one guy hitting bullseyes with the attack helo on Sharqui one night solo. He never missed. I kicked him for ruining the game. After that, the round was much more even and fun for everyone.

Definitely lets add the warning to the server.

This seems like another trend. Players I've called out in chat like this just don't respond. Silence... I looked into the g15 forums quite alot. There was NO discussions of defining macros this way. If you read some of teh 33 screens of msgs on this link, there were plenty of cheat accusations, along with several more complaining thier stats were wiped, and several more bitching about server bans on thier GUIDs.

I say the next time someone jumps and shoots an AT as perfect as a sniper, just ban them on the spot. If they were not cheating, they will stop by the forums and make an appeal. I certainly would.

Great keyboard, and despite the less-knowledgeable ppl in that thread, that is a NICE price for it.

No thanks Doc. I don't want anything to do with it. If ya gotta install a wedge and macro define every mouse click then its time to un-install that game.

That is one hell of a price tho. I paid $100 for mine locally.

That is a lame attitude man. As I said, they can use those in ANY game if they wanted to. You going to stop gaming all together?

Have you played on a lot of 2142 servers that seemed like people were doing that?

While it is out there I honestly do not think EVERYONE is actually doing it!

So far the 2142 servers I have played on have been fairly smack tard free. I find a lot of people do not give rides and stick together but that is normal. I have not found a server where I just got pwned and if I did, I just jump to a new one.
