Galactic Conquest Release 4

Looks like it won't be released until 3pm PST / 5pm CST / 6pm EST at earliest according to [GCDev] SZier. That is the earliest they say they can get it up to all the mirrors for download.

The real trick is getting it to the server. If they make it an EXE, it may take a bit. I'm just glad Cox doubled my upload speed to 512K. That will help.

I kind of wanted to know which machine to bring over.... If it is laggy i was going to bring the PC, otherwise I'd just bring the laptop as usual.

Do you need the patch from v0.3 or the full version?

I have the .3 installed, a link to either version would be fine.

Alright, I'm tired of watching. It doesn't take this long to put a few files up.

I'm jumping in a BFV server somewhere. I'll keep looking. If you see it, jump in TS. Or Jump in TS and play BFV with me and Raze.

Saw something on their forums that it might be like 11 before it comes out. I am going to finish up some chores and will be in to play whatever in about an hour.

Yea, we tried it. I wasn't that impressed. I hated that they took out the Heavy Infantry. Bespin just wasn't the same.

I just started the DL this morning before i left for work!
I will probably offend 90% of you by saying this but i could do without all of the star wars games. Not that they aren't fun, just not my thing.
I was the G.I. Joe kid that shreaded your starwars toys with firecrackers and bottle rockets.

To be honest, I love the laser weapons, but could care less about the ships and vehicles. That's why I loved Bespin so much. It was one of the most awesome fights I have ever had in BF. Laser tracers were going everywhere. It was incredible.

Besides, I'm just old enough to have bought the first Star Wars toys and just young enough to have the first release of the little GI Joe toys. But, the GI Joe mod fizzled out. 🙁 I tried it and it had potential. I think they got shut down by the owners of the license. Too bad.

Yeah a game with a Laser gun would be cool, something with a battleground like in Terminator.
Is there anything out there like that, or in the works that you know of?

There was a Terminator mod at one time, but I don't think it is still around.
