Helps you find keys for games you've previously installed on your system, in case you lose it. If you've reformatted your C: drive since the last time you installed the game, you're out of luck.

I use to have one for BF42 that would allow me to change the key. Racer would come over some friday nights and he could use my second system as long as we changed the key. These things are real useful.
